As for spin, I feel it has less than the 802-40, Victas 102, and Spinpips, but more spin than Moristo SP or Spectol. It's about as controllable as the 802, and faster than that, but not as fast as Spectol, 802-40, or Victas 102. Since it has less spin than the 802-40 and Victas 102, your serves will have less spin too. But you can attack spinny balls and block consistently. Out of 10 shots, you'll maybe get 1 or 2 knuckle balls. It's not deceptive, but it's very effective for attacking spinny balls.

HIAMA (Experience: ４〜５ years) A serious spin-type rubber.

This short pips rubber is a serious spin rubber. I used it on my backhand, and it just generates spin like crazy. Drives lift easily, and even when I dropped back away from the table, I could still get power on the ball and trade shots. Blocks also get a nice grip from the topsheet, so the ball comes out with a slight arc and lands on the table easily.
If I had to name a downside, it's that knuckle balls don't come out easily. So it's not suited to players who want to score with pips-style variation. It was very easy for me to use, but my opponents told me the ball was pretty easy to read. Also, smashes tend to come out a bit drive-like, so it's hard to go for a decisive kill shot on a loose loop drive.
That said, I'd recommend it to anyone who likes pips but wants more spin, or anyone who feels the spin on their current pips rubber isn't enough.
I also had players who currently use inverted rubber try this, and they were able to use it without any trouble. So I'd definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about switching from inverted to short pips. You can hit much like with inverted rubber while still getting used to the feel of pips.
It's a really good rubber, so if you're on the fence, why not give it a try?

I use this on my backhand pips, switching over from Moristo SP.
Blocking and driving are very easy to do, and it feels close to inverted rubber.
You can still learn the typical punch-block style and knuckle shots that pips are known for with practice, so I'd recommend it to all-around players who want to mix things up.
That said, if you use it on a carbon blade like I did, it might fly too much, so I'd recommend using it on an all-wood blade instead.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I had been using variable-spin pips up until now,
but I started wanting to attack with drives and flat hits, so I picked this rubber.
It's just really easy to control!
It also has plenty of speed, so I think it's a great match for anyone who wants to win with sheer power!!!

This puts a ton of spin on the ball! The topsheet really grabs the ball too.
Knuckle balls do come out, but I never felt the ball wobble unexpectedly.
It feels like it's lost that typical pips character.
I think it would be great for Japanese penhold players.

My wife uses this on her forehand.
From the receiving end, my first impression is that even though it's pips, it really has a lot of spin. There's spin right from the serve, so it's honestly kind of a pain to return...
Also, drives can be controlled solidly, almost like with an inverted topsheet.
Most of all, it really grabs onto the ball, so as a practice partner receiving it, my timing gets thrown off...
Using it myself, it felt softer than expected and easy to control. I can't fully evaluate it since I don't have proper pips technique, but it's a pretty impressive rubber. I think it would be great for someone switching from inverted to pips, and it's also a perfect fit for someone like my wife who plays forehand pips.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

A friend had this on a defensive blade, so I borrowed it to try.
Even on a defensive blade it still has plenty of bounce. It's hard to keep the ball down, but against light shots from my opponent I can chop with a sharp, biting spin. It's easy to attack with and feels stable, so instead of playing as a chopper, I ended up becoming a close-to-the-table fast-attack player.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
