Back in the day, top players all used this rubber, but now it's treated like a control rubber for beginners and intermediates. The progress of technology is a scary thing. Some people might think of it as a relic of the speed-glue era, but it's still a rubber you can use to go out and win for sure!

This rubber has been a hit for such a long time. These days, intermediate players and above — and even beginners — mostly use tension rubbers, so a high-elasticity rubber might feel old-fashioned, but it's really good for raising your skill level. I'd recommend it for beginner to intermediate players who want to improve!

This is a long-seller product.
I think it's a rubber that really suits Japanese penhold.

Now that I've been using Tenergy for so long, I figured I didn't need this anymore, but I still had some left over from stocking up early on, so it felt like a waste not to use it, and I glued it on. It doesn't grip for spin at all! Speed is so-so. But trying it again after a long time, I realized something — even though it doesn't grip for spin, it draws a beautiful arc! And even though the speed is pretty good, it's stable and easy to control, and the ball lands on the table. This rubber isn't the type that gives you speed for free — you have to generate speed yourself (which, honestly, should be normal), so it's easy to control and it feels like every drive lands in. That said, it puts you at a disadvantage for the short game — pushes, stops, flicks, and so on. Since it has no real quirks, it is easy to use overall.
