Control is good, but if you pair it with something like a XIOM blade, it does feel a bit lacking. Since it's also easy to control, I'd say it's more for beginners.

I went back to basics and tried this out.
If you make solid contact, you can get balls that are just as good as with tension rubbers. But still, I felt it's probably more of a beginner-oriented rubber.All Speed Spin Control

It's becoming less and less popular even among beginners lol
but I think the grip of the top sheet is genuinely impressive. If you hit by sinking the ball into the sponge, the drive is nothing special, but if you brush it thin and light, you get a huge amount of spin. It really depends on your swing speed though... it'll show you exactly how fast your swing really is.Blocks are really easy to do, and since the switch to plastic balls the spin doesn't bother me as much anymore, so as long as you're not playing an aggressive style, I think it's plenty usable...

I decided to go back to basics and switched to this.
Compared to tension rubbers, the amount of spin and speed is lower, but even accounting for that, the stability is outstanding.
I can now hit balls that I could never hit with a tension rubber like Tenergy, and it's almost funny how well it works.
In my case it might also be because I used to play with this kind of rubber before, but for anyone who feels tension rubbers bounce too much to control, I'd really recommend trying this at least once.
If it doesn't bounce enough, you can adjust with thickness, and it's also lighter than tension rubbers.

As for speed, I think it can hold its own against recent rubbers, but when it comes to spin, it just can't compete.
Control is quite easy though, so I think it suits people who like to keep long rallies going.All Speed Spin Control

A rubber that lets you get back to practicing the basics.
Unlike something like Tenergy, it doesn't give you strong spin just by making contact, and it doesn't give you speed for free either.
Because of that, it's perfect for practicing generating spin with your own power, and it lets you go back and really solidify your fundamentals.
Of course, I also think it's a good rubber you can use in actual matches too.All Speed Spin Control
