Honestly, I expected Tackifire Drive to be highly tacky like the Tackiness series and not bounce much. But it doesn't have that much tack - it's more like barely-there tack - and from a chopper's point of view it's pretty solid. I think deep chops with this can generate some seriously nasty spin. You can also go on the attack aggressively on your third ball or when you get a chance off a chop, so it's a rubber that lets you mix attacking and chopping even in topspin rallies - I'd recommend it for choppers.

After using Tackiness Drive first and then trying Tackifire Drive, both feel stable, but I think Tackifire Drive grips the ball with more spin. If I had to put it into words, I'd say Tackifire Drive is a step or two above Tackiness Drive.

This rubber gives up some bounce in exchange for the ability to absorb and return hard smashes from modern tension rubbers. It bounces a little, but you can still dominate the short game with it, and you can grab and return your opponent's serves regardless of spin. From your opponent's perspective, in tension-rubber topspin rallies they're timing their shots, but with Tackifire Drive you can completely ignore that timing. You could honestly call it a tension-rubber killer.

The lightly tacky sheet has no quirks, holds the ball a good amount, and control is excellent.
Chops, pushes, hard hits, connecting drives from mid-distance — you can pull off all sorts of shots reliably, and you can swing through with confidence.
Given how much spin it generates, it's relatively insensitive to the opponent's incoming spin, so you can chop down hard on topspin short serves and return them low.
It's perfect as an entry point into chopping.Of course, compared to a tension rubber, you can't deny the lack of power, but the first thing a chopper needs is a stable, heavy-spin chop.
A lot of intermediate choppers end up, without realizing it, in a situation like 'I switched to tension to focus on offense, but I got so caught up in control that my chops got weak, I couldn't create chances, and it backfired completely' — so I'd also recommend this rubber to those players as something to come back to.
By taking advantage of the low bounce and swinging through with confidence, I think it might actually sharpen your attacks even more.Rather than 'attacking because you can't win with chops,'
it's about
'creating chances with chops and then attacking.'

This rubber excels at control and spin, but honestly it doesn't have much bounce and the speed is nothing special either.
But that's exactly why blocks land cleanly on the table and you get fewer overshooting pushes.
In other words, it lets you play a low-error style of table tennis.
I said it doesn't bounce much, but if you swing through properly you still get a baseline amount of speed, so as long as you attack the right courses you'll be fine.
The spin is quite strong, so your serve becomes a real weapon.Of course, ideally you'd improve, use a bouncy tension rubber, keep your short game stable, and take points by attacking on your own initiative.
But if too much bounce makes your short game unstable and lets your opponent take the initiative, or you're overshooting a lot of drives and smashes, winning matches gets tough.This assumes you're playing close to the table, but even though this rubber's overall stats fall short of a tension rubber, I think it's an easy rubber to win matches with.
Especially recommended for beginner-to-intermediate players still building their skills, and for the backhand of penhold pips players.

Among old-school table tennis rubbers, this one suits players who love overwhelming, aggressive rallies, or who like to toy with opponents and out-hit them. It's a rubber that never loses in a slugfest. If you use thin sponge on the backhand, you get incredibly heavy spin. In other words, this rubber lets you play speed-focused shots like smashes on the forehand and spin-heavy shots on the backhand.

Used on the forehand (thick) of a Butterfly Defence 2.
I don't really like lobbing, so I bought this to practice being able to choose to chop when pushed away from the table.
It's a versatile, quirk-free rubber that makes every technique easy, good for beginner to intermediate players. Speed and spin are decent, and control is excellent.
I'd recommend it as a second rubber for beginner choppers once they can sustain rallies to some extent and start working attacks in.
It can do a bit of everything, but to put it negatively, it's a jack-of-all-trades, so once you've built up some skill I'd recommend moving up to a higher-performance rubber.
