I'm using it on my backhand!
I think the good point is that it grips a lot of spin and the ball really sinks in. It holds up fine against backspin balls, and at under 6000 yen I feel it's relatively cheap.
The amount of spin is really great, but compared to Dignics or Tenergy, I feel like it doesn't fly as much.
This felt like a rubber I'd really want people who want explosive power and impact, or drive-heavy players who attack close to the table, to try. Please give it a try!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I mounted it on a hard outer-ply SZLC blade and tried it out.
My overall impression was that it's like the old "Chuck + Spinmax" combo, so to speak.
Above all, the feel and grip on the ball are great, and it gives you a real sense of security that the ball will land on the table no matter what.
The feel is especially top-notch when you hit hard.If I had to name a downside, it's that this pleasant feeling can make you a bit greedy and go for too much. (totally my own fault lol)
With a hardness of 48 degrees and a weight of roughly 50g, it's a slightly heavy, slightly hard rubber, so it does require some arm strength.
I don't think it's a rubber for beginners at the very least, so I'd recommend it to players who already have a solid foundation.
Comparing it to Tenergy 05,- Tenergy 05 is softer and lighter
- Tenergy 05 is easier to handle (C48 settles onto the table more easily)
- Since it's a slightly tacky rubber, you can tone down the opponent's spin a bit before hitting your own shot (Tenergy 05 is quite sensitive to the opponent's spin)That's how it felt to me.

I'm adding this after using it a while longer since my impression has changed a bit.I mounted R48 on the other side, so this is a comparison between the two.
- R48 clearly has more bounce/speed.
R48 is low and straight, while C48 produces more of an arc.- The amount of spin differs depending on how you hit. Standing the racket face up and sinking the ball in favors R48, while laying the face flatter favors C48. Neither is overwhelmingly more than the other, but with C48 I felt like the ball stayed under control through spin.
- Comparing the feel, C48 is harder. The sheet is hard, so it's easy to grip the ball on the surface.
- The biggest difference is that C48 flies noticeably higher.
You'll notice this when lifting backspin balls or blocking. For the short game and counters too, laying the face flatter and swinging forward brings out the best of it.On the forehand you need to change your stroke a bit,
so I think it suits most people better on the backhand.I'd recommend pairing it with a hard, bouncy blade.
I really wish they'd make a green version!

I put the Rasanter C48 on my forehand. Since it's a tacky tension rubber, switching over from tension rubber went smoothly. This rubber produces a huge amount of spin. Against middle school opponents, you can score points with loop drives alone. It's also really easy to blast through with one big shot.

The ball sinks into the sponge on its own, so you get both spin and speed. The counter also grips well for spin, so it tends to come out with a loop-like trajectory.

Front-end haste (Experience: ４〜５ years) A new-era tacky tension rubber!

I used the UM thickness on my forehand.
First of all, what stands out most about this rubber is how well it balances spin and speed. Thanks to the slightly tacky sheet that works whether you brush it or hit into it, it's very easy to put spin on, and the springy tension sponge gives it plenty of speed too. The feel is similar to other Rasanter rubbers. It's lighter than a Chinese tacky rubber, so you can use it the same way you'd use a tension rubber.
I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to use a tacky rubber but is put off by the weight, as well as andro rubber fans in general!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Used it mounted on a Quartet VFC.
First of all, it's soft.
The feel and sound of the hit are pleasant, but the sponge compresses all the way down so it feels like you're hitting off a board, and you don't get all that much spin.
The ball definitely goes deep, but it just goes deep and that's about it.
That said, the fact that it doesn't drop even when the sponge is fully compressed shows the quality of the topsheet.I think it matches a style that wants stability for meet hits and rallies on the backhand side.
If you use it on your forehand, mounting it on a blade with fast ball release or a harder blade (like a Koki Niwa Wood or an outer-ply blade) might give it better balance and change your impression of it.
Personally I'd recommend a 7-ply blade with a harder surface.
