I think an easy-to-use short pips rubber basically means Hammond, lol. You can hit almost like you're using inverted rubber, and drives come out normally too. But the fact that it's easy to use also means it's easy for the opponent to return, so compared to variation-type rubbers, you'll get a lot fewer free points from knuckle balls catching your opponent off guard in matches. Skilled players and short pips beginners tend to use easy-to-use short pips rubbers, but for intermediate players, a short pips rubber with natural variation might be a better fit. I'd recommend this one to people trying short pips for the first time!

This rubber is built around control. It's not really a rubber that generates a huge amount of spin, but it's consistent, and when you really sink the ball in for a hard hit, it gives you a bounce that can rival modern tension rubbers. Safe connecting shots land exactly where you picture them, and that's where it really differs from modern tension rubbers. It's a rubber I'd recommend for players who prioritize consistency and keep spinning the ball, or for players who keep chopping.

This is a rubber where the fully spin-focused, standard Hurricane got a bit more bounce. Hurricane NEO3 really surprised me — a tacky tension rubber that flies this well, and I thought the spin stays just like a strong-tack rubber. But I think this rubber is an evolved version where the spin amount hasn't changed at all from a strong-tack rubber, yet it has a little extra bounce added. It wouldn't be a stretch to call it a Hurricane NEO3 with the spin performance boosted and the bounce toned down. If you want to try a tacky rubber, or if you're already using one, I'd recommend trying either Hurricane NEO3 or NEO2.

As expected, the regular Hurricane doesn't produce much speed, but the spin is off the charts. I think the NEO version fits the modern game better, but if you're going all-in on spin, using this regular Hurricane isn't a bad choice either — your opponent will definitely hate it, haha. It doesn't bounce much, but it still has enough pop to sit somewhere between tacky tension rubber and a rock-hard regular Hurricane, so you won't find yourself unable to put away even easy balls! For chopping, the performance is similar to the Pro 2 — easy to control and it rips with heavy backspin!

I guess the speed performance is what stands out. Honestly it wasn't really to my taste, though.
The Vega gives intermediate players the spin and speed they need. The Omega has the high-level performance to satisfy advanced players too. The Sigma, though... there's not really anything special about it. The sheet doesn't really respond to your swing, and the sponge doesn't exactly grip the ball and launch it either. If you've tried a bunch of German rubbers and none of them clicked for you, maybe give this one a shot as a last resort lolOverall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
