When I wrote a review before, I was using a Clipper Wood CR WRB blade. Back then it flew way too much, and I thought it just wasn't for me.
But once I switched my blade to an Infinity VPS, it turned out amazing! A thinner all-wood blade might get the bounce just right. I went with 2.0 this time, and that gives just the right bounce along with good spin. I used to use a tacky tension rubber, and this (the 50) is perfect for transitioning away from a tacky rubber.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I found a really good rubber here!
The feel is softer than the listed hardness would suggest.
For the DF, even when you close the racket angle a lot on things like counter-drives, the ball still lands on the table without dropping short. You can also comfortably rally from further back!
The arc is high and drives are easy to hit, so I'd recommend using it on the forehand.
It flies quite a bit, so you'll need some skill to keep it in check.
The downside is that the rubber is a bit on the heavy side. But other than that, I felt like this rubber is worth more than the price!Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I bought this thinking I could use it as a substitute for Tenergy 05.
Speed and spin aren't that far off.
What did feel different was the control and the way the ball holds on the rubber. The unique feel of Butterfly's spring sponge, where the ball holds longer, really is something else.
Still, the value for money is quite good, so I think it's a solid rubber for attacking players who want something decent without spending too much.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

The 80 might actually suit a penhold looper well. There's no technique it makes hard. It's an excellent rubber where you can do drives, hits, and the short game all at a high level. It works on both forehand and backhand too. I'm a penhold looper who plays more like a blocker, and blocking is easy with this too. The pain points are the price and the lifespan, though... There's no rubber as good as a freshly-replaced Tenergy. I've also hit with Dignics, but it's not quite my preference, so I'm still figuring things out.

I used this after Shoryu, and it's quite a bit softer. I thought it might actually work better on my backhand than my forehand.
It could be a good entry point into tacky rubbers.
Also, since the rubber is a bit softer and lighter, the ball tends to come out light too. As far as tacky rubbers go, it's light and easy to use. It seems better suited to players who go for long rallies than those who go for one big finishing shot.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
