Using M3 made me love Bluefire, and I bought this one looking for the extra speed I felt was missing. The difference from M3 is obvious! This one wins hands down on distance. And yet the ball still draws a proper arc. A compact swing sends the ball flying all the way to land near the end line. The feeling of hitting a topspin drive was the best! In terms of value for money, I think this beats Tenergy.

I could no longer afford Tenergy, so I was looking for an alternative and came across this one. Surprisingly stable! A compact-swing drive traces exactly the arc I picture and drops right into the court. The short game is easy too. Above all, the way the ball holds on the rubber was the best part. Advanced players might find it lacking, but for intermediate players it's a rubber that gives plenty of satisfaction.

I used this on my backhand. Honestly, it felt a bit underwhelming for a tension rubber. Blocks and half-volleys are stable, but I didn't really feel the things you want from a tension rubber, like the ball spinning on its own or that extra kick after the bounce. As for the arc on drives, I kept thinking, "at this speed, shouldn't it dip down a bit more sharply?" My impression is that it's a rubber that matches its price, so honestly, why not just go with XION instead? I expect "ultra high performance" from a Butterfly rubber...

This might be down to my own lack of power or the blade not matching well, but... I used the max thickness version, and honestly I was a bit disappointed — I couldn't get speed out of it, and I couldn't get spin the way I wanted either. When I do manage to nail chops or pushes, the bite can be incredible, but it's too difficult for me, I don't know how to consistently pull it off. Even when I try to rip a sharp cut, it comes out without much bite and just floats over.
A powerful top-level player might be able to bring out this rubber's true performance.

This sits between the Z1 and Z3. The Z1 sends drives out on a straight, flat trajectory, the Z3 holds the ball well and lets you really get spin on it, and with the Z2 I felt like the ball drops suddenly at the end. At first I used Z1 on my forehand and Z2 on my backhand, but I switched them. My forehand over-hits decreased and my backhand blocks extended further, so personally I felt this setup suited me better. When I used it on the backhand, though, it felt kind of in-between and unclear. I think that's the downside of being positioned between the Z1 and Z3.
I'd recommend it for the forehand of players who find the Z3 lacking but can't control the Z1.
