I used to be a tacky-rubber user, but as my physical ability declined I could no longer get the most out of tacky rubber. Still, I couldn't give up on hard rubbers, so I ordered this one and gave it a try.
First, on serves, it feels close to a tacky rubber, and spin as well as short/long placement are easy to control.
On drives, the trajectory isn't quite the same as a tacky rubber, but the speed is definitely higher, and I'd say the spin is about the same amount.
Personally, I found it easy to use for scooping, defensive-style drives from mid-distance, scraping the ball up from below the table — even those come out with a nasty trajectory and spin onto the table.
That said, I got the impression that you need to slightly adjust your stroke, or it's hard to control.For short-game skills, it clearly doesn't bounce as much as Tenergy 05 and felt easier to use.
Even as a former tacky-rubber user, I could use it without any sense of unfamiliarity.
I also tried flipping it onto my backhand, but at my level I could only produce weak, floaty balls, so I'd say the backhand is strictly for advanced players.To sum up, switching over from tacky rubber, you can use this without much of an adjustment period, but this is definitely a rubber you should never hand to a beginner.
It's hard, and unless you swing through it properly it won't fly, so it's suited to people who like hard rubbers, or to advanced players.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

In my last post I was using 40-degree National Hurricane Blue with Fastarc, but the hardness of the rubber stood out a bit too much, so I switched to 39-degree National Hurricane and Tenergy 05 on the backhand.
As expected, going a bit softer gave me more of a "sinking in" feel than before, and even when I really smash into it with the tacky rubber, the ball doesn't drop as much as I expected and goes in on a low trajectory.
Before, I always felt like I was missing either speed or spin, but now even the drive where I open the racket face and brush the ball goes in with a nasty trajectory.
I also hit topspin drives with the Tenergy on the backhand, but since that side is an inner-carbon blade, it doesn't fly out as much as an outer one would.
If you try this blade and feel like the hardness stands out too much, it might be worth trying to lower the rubber's hardness.I'll stick with this combo for a while (lol)

I usually prefer tacky rubbers and wanted just a bit more speed, so I bought this.
First, I was surprised that it doesn't bounce much on light taps, which makes it easy to control.
And when you hit hard, the ball really flies — more than you'd expect paired with a tacky rubber.It's made by DHS, so I guess that makes sense (lol)
To sum up, it's a great blade that stays calm where you don't want bounce and comes alive where you do.
That said, I think it's hard to handle unless you've built up a decent set of fundamentals.

I used this from partway through 8th grade until I retired from the team in high school, then took it back up and bought another one later.
Back in middle and high school I was slathering on speed glue, so I couldn't really judge it properly then, but the ball speed is clearly the easiest to generate out of any blade I've used.
It's not as easy to spin as wood or inner-carbon blades, but it still puts on enough spin to blow through an opponent's block.
As for how easy it is to swing, the backhand is easy to swing, probably thanks to the grip.
I think it's easy to use whether you're focused on spin or on flat hitting.
As for the forehand, I didn't find it particularly hard to control.
If anything, I feel it's the most stable blade I've used so far.
If you take a full swing like the Chinese players do, it'll go long, but if you swing with some awareness of spin, it works completely fine.I think the rubber can range anywhere from tacky to tension, but tension is probably the safe choice.
The only downsides are the price and how hard it is to get hold of — I think without some basic fundamentals in place, the ball will go completely wild on you.

I used this before switching to the Hurricane Long 5.
Like everyone else posting reviews here, it bounces so much you start wondering "is this really a 5-ply?"
But in the short game it settles down and is easy to control.Compared to a normal plywood blade, the trajectory is more straight-line, but compared to a special-material blade, it flies with more of an arc.
I owned both the Master and Legend grips, so I can compare them: if you want to use centrifugal force to send the ball flying, the Master is better, and if you want to grip it firmly and swing, the Legend is better, I think.
The Master is thinner than I expected, so if it feels off in your hand, it might help to adjust it with some grip tape.
