I used it on the reverse side of a penhold blade, and every technique was easy to do — very easy to use.

I tried this as a penhold pips-out player
Defense
Stopping blocks took a bit of concentration, but the control isn't bad, so it's actually manageable
Offense
You do get speed, but it feels a bit tricky. I haven't played much penhold pips-out, but I feel like a non-bouncy, curl-type long pips might be easier to handle
Overall
The bite you get on defense is nice, and control is surprisingly easy too. But maybe because I don't have much penhold pips-out experience, offense felt a bit harder with this than with non-tension long pips. It made me think a skilled player could probably do anything with itOverall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I wanted to review the Ovtcharov True Carbon but couldn't get one, so I'm reviewing this successor version instead (same thing, just a different name and design). I have untuned Hurricane 3 on both sides.
Drive against topspin
Easy to do, gives proper speed and of course spin too
Drive against backspin
A speed drive that blows straight through in one shot is obviously asking too much, but loop drives and the like get proper spin and stay stable
Drive over the table
I only tried it on receives I could aim and on floating third balls or close-to-the-table rallies, but it's quite stable and there were plenty of times I could put it away in one shot
Push
Grips the ball well; it's carbon but it never flies off wild, and it doesn't kill the tackiness at all
Block
Easy to do
Hit (meet the ball)
Not quite as much distance as with tension rubber, but it's there — not fast, but not too slow either
Flick
I can do it, but my pushes are so good I rarely use it; the sweeping flick was also pretty good
Overall
Unlike most other outer blades, it doesn't kill the spin quality of tacky rubber, and it gives good speed on top of that. The control was excellent too, of course.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

The arc is high and stable, and it's also easy to put spin on, so I'd recommend it to players looking for a stable backhand.

I put this on the forehand of a Ma Lin Extra Offensive Chinese penhold blade.
Drive
Even though it's a tacky rubber, it's light enough to make you go "huh?" — and it still gets proper spin on the ball.
Block
Since it's tacky, this is expected, but it does get affected by the opponent's spin.
Punch block
Hmm, it's neither particularly hard nor particularly easy to use.
Push
It got good spin and was easy to use.
Flick
Lifting the ball was as easy as ever, and flicking wasn't bad either.
Overall
It felt like slightly less spin than Hurricane, but the rubber is light and works well for Chinese penhold, and speed also felt slightly higher than Hurricane.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
Recomend racket MA LIN EXTRA OFFENSIVE
