    This is a fairly soft rubber. I used it on the backhand of a 5-ply all-wood blade

    Flat hitting
    Easy to do, and you can really feel the softness
    Block
    The control is good, so it's easy to use for blocking
    Push
    It floats up a little too easily, which is a drawback
    Topspin drive
    Since it's soft, the ball sinks in quite a bit, so it's easy to use even without a fast swing

    Overall
    This was a soft rubber with good control. I think it suits the backhand better than the forehand. That said, it might be a good fit for people who aren't confident in their swing, people who feel they don't have much muscle mass, or junior high schoolers

    The control is amazing, seriously, in my opinion the control performance was really high, you can hit exactly where you're aiming
    You can put spin on the ball the way you want, or rather, it's really easy to generate spin
    The feel is really good too, it sticks to your hand which makes it very easy to use
    There's not much speed though

    I used this with short pips on my backhand.
    Drive
    It grips the ball, but not by a huge amount, and the speed doesn't come out as much as I expected.
    Block
    Relatively easy to do.
    Punch
    A little easier than expected.
    Push
    Nothing special.
    Overall
    Good and bad, it just feels kind of average, honestly. I was surprised the speed wasn't as much as I expected, but the control was better than I thought to make up for it, so I didn't mind that.

    I used this on the backhand of a shakehand 5-ply blade.
    Serve
    It's neither good nor bad - spin is a bit hard to put on, but the ball goes where I aim.
    Receive
    Harder to use than I expected.
    Drive
    There wasn't much spin so it was a bit hard to use, but the short game was fairly good I thought.
    Block
    It was easy to place the ball to different spots, this part felt a little easier to use.
    Push
    Maybe because it's soft, the ball sometimes floated up and got hit, spin was hard to put on.
    Overall
    Spin was hard to put on, but control is decent, so I thought it might be good as a first tension rubber for beginners.

    This is the Hurricane 8, the plastic-ball version of the Hurricane 2.
    Topspin against topspin
    Since it's a tacky rubber, keeping the racket face closed when you hit is best.
    Topspin against backspin
    It's tacky, but unlike a tacky-tension hybrid, this is a true tacky rubber, so you don't need to open the face that much. Once you get used to it, you can drive at the same angle you'd use against topspin.
    Push
    It grips the ball a lot.
    Block
    Being tacky, it's heavily affected by the opponent's spin, so some people might find it awkward to use.
    Serve
    Really good, you get plenty of spin and it shows off good control.
    Receive
    It's affected by incoming spin, but the control is good enough that you can place the ball pretty much where you want.
    The short game
    Overall it's easy to use; personally I found it easy to flick the ball down the line.
