It's soft.
I think it suits the backhand more than the forehand.
Backhand blocks are easy to do.
The trajectory is straight, so that's something to watch out for.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Used on the front side of a single-sided penhold with short pips.
Serve
It puts spin on the ball well, so both forehand and backhand serves were pretty easy to do, and I could vary the amount of spin too.
Receive
It's somewhat affected by the opponent's serve spin, but the control was good enough to make up for that.
Forehand topspin drive
For short pips it grips a fair amount — it's not a tension rubber, but even so it felt like it held onto the ball to some degree.
Forehand smash, forehand flat hit
I felt the ball was a bit slow. It was easy to control, but a floating push, for example, often got picked off easily by the opponent. Placing the ball around the table was easy though.
Backhand block
It's somewhat sensitive to incoming spin, so this part could be a bit tricky.
Push
Since it's easy to put spin on, pushes came out sharp and biting too.Overall
This was a rubber that made it easy to put spin on the ball. The slightly slow speed and sensitivity to the opponent's spin are drawbacks, but control makes up for it. I'd recommend it for beginners or for a penhold short-pips fast-attack style player.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Bought this for chopping, using it on the forehand
Topspin drive
Both the spin and control are amazing, though the speed wasn't quite as much as I expected
Chop
More speed than I expected, control was a bit tricky
Push
Spin performance is as amazing as ever, and it can draw mistakes out of your opponent
Overall
Great spin along with plenty of speed and control, my only complaint is that it wears out pretty fastOverall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Pairs well with tacky rubber. It's a 5-ply but feels like a 7-ply. I'm using tacky rubber on both sides.
Topspin drive
Since it's all wood, it's easy to get spin on, and it suits tacky rubber well. It also rarely goes long off the table.
Push
Easy to do — the control really shines here.
Stop
Combined with tacky rubber it stops well.
Serve
Unlike carbon blades, it grips the ball quite well, so it was easy to serve with.
Flick
The short-game technique didn't fly too much, which was good.
Topspin rallies
A bit hard — with tacky rubber it just doesn't fly much no matter what.
Lobbing
Average — lobs go further than I expected.Overall
Since it's a DHS blade with 5 plies, it pairs really well with tacky rubber. Definitely try playing with tacky rubber on this one.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft
