I bought this on a friend's recommendation.
My first impression was that it was really great.
It has the easy control of all-wood blades combined with the bounce of carbon, an all-around blade with nothing to complain about.
This time I paired it with my usual DNA Platinum XH and MX-D, and it worked out just fine.
If I had to name one downside, this is just my personal opinion, but the grip is a bit rough, so it felt a little off when I first held it, though I stopped noticing it after using it for a while. It's also good value for the price, so if you're curious, I think it's worth buying.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

This is the blade that finally got me out of the blade-hunting rabbit hole.
Pros
- Good ball-holding, but not too much
- Doesn't bounce much on the short game, but has power in topspin rallies
- Grip-side weight balance
- Wide sweet spotCons
- Many units run heavyI've used various special-material blades, but this one matched my feel the best.
If you hit with relaxed power it doesn't bounce much, but if you put power in, it bounces. The ball-holding and feel are just right.
The grip-side weight balance makes the backhand easy, without making you feel the weight.
The slightly smaller blade head makes switching between shots smooth and easy to swing through.
The wide sweet spot really helps in the short game, topspin rallies, and blocking.As for the cons.
Many units run heavy, but because the weight is balanced toward the grip, you don't really feel it.
Mine is an 88-gram unit, but I'm thinking I might buy a slightly heavier one next time.
With rubber on, it's 189 grams. It feels more like about 186 grams.
Since it feels light, the idea would be to use a unit that's a few grams heavier to hit heavier balls.I ended up writing this pretty enthusiastically at the end, but if you're torn over which blade to get, this one is worth trying.

Mine weighed 88 grams. I liked the feel of the Viscaria on hard shots and the texture of the grip, but I just couldn't produce the "slow" side of change-of-pace shots, so I was getting a lot of overshoot and net misses. So I was looking for a blade that could produce that "slow" touch without losing too much of the "fast" side.
This blade came the closest to what I wanted. The way the ball "dies" on a light hit is exquisite. Blocks and stops become less likely to overshoot. Drives end up with more of an arc.
I hear the new material used isn't carbon — maybe that's what contributes to this "exquisite" feel?
The grip is also on the thicker side, close to the Viscaria, with a somewhat strong flare toward the end, giving a sense of security — it doesn't wobble or slip even when held lightly. One downside, though: when it gets wet with sweat, the smell of the wood adhesive gets on your palm. I guess that's just something you have to work through with use.
I didn't know the rebound level, so I tried a slightly softer rubber, but I feel like this blade could easily handle an even bouncier rubber.

I never imagined there could be such a great blade.
I wanted it to get more publicity, so I'm posting this review.The description reads like it's a wood-style blade, but it flies plenty well enough even from mid-distance or further back.
On top of that, the ball-holding is good, and I was able to hit some really powerful shots.
Also, unlike inner-type blades, it doesn't suddenly reveal that "material" feel partway through when you sink the ball in — the surface layer feels like hard wood.
The feel is less of a hollow "poko-poko" type and more like a hard plywood, though that might depend on how you hit it...Also, true to the "RE" naming, the grip and lightness are noticeable at a level you can really feel. The design looks great too.
As expected of the model used by Oshima — this is a blade I personally hope gets more recognition.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Maybe because it's tacky rubber, but the drives land really well. If you're looking for a blade that suits tacky rubber, this is the one I'd recommend! It's an outer carbon blade, so it bounces well.

Honestly I wasn't expecting much, but it turned out great! A blade that doesn't fly close to the table but flies when you want it to from a bit further back... something that convenient couldn't really exist, right? But that's exactly what this is! When I hit from a bit further back, the ball flew off at a speed I'd never seen before.
The feel is supposedly on the harder side, but rather than a sharp "kan-kan" impact sound, it's more of a soft "poko-poko" type feel. It grips the ball firmly, so the sensation stays in your hand.
The grip is on the thin, slim side, I think. Very easy to hold!! It's not outrageously expensive either, so I recommend it!!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard
