I've tried out all kinds of blades, but the Ma Lin Carbon is the one I trust the most. There's nothing else to say beyond that — "a blade you can trust," that's the whole answer.

Since I switched from an outer-carbon blade, my honest first impression was that it doesn't have much bounce. But when it comes to the short game and blocking, the stability is surprisingly good. Compared to my old outer-carbon blade, it feels like I lost that one-shot power and the crisp, satisfying feel, but in exchange I feel like I gained solid, steady defense and the ability to seize the initiative.
I'm not a fan of the sound, but maybe that's just something you get used to. Even though it's carbon, it doesn't feel like carbon at all. I'm torn between this and the outer-carbon blade I used to love. Still, somehow I just can't bring myself to dislike the Ma Lin Carbon, so I'm still figuring it out.

I bought the carbon as my first blade from the Ma Lin series. Honestly, I hadn't really planned on buying one, but the weight was exactly what I wanted, so I picked it up out of curiosity. Once I used it, the feeling was a perfect match for me! It's funny how that works — blades I really wanted in the past didn't suit me once I bought them, while a blade I wasn't even planning to buy fit me completely. It really made me realize that what matters with a blade isn't the price or the specs, but whether it suits you.

I like Ma Lin too, but I actually bought this because a player I look up to used it. It's a carbon blade but easy to handle. My swing style is pretty big and forceful, so I used to get a lot of overshoots with other carbon blades, but this one fit perfectly! Blocks stop where they should, the short game is easy to control, and small mistakes have dropped a lot. I only changed the blade and kept the same rubber, but it really made me realize how much the compatibility between blade and rubber matters, and how important it is for equipment to suit you personally.

Probably the pioneer, a true monster blade among all the inner-carbon blades various makers now offer! The fact that it still hasn't been discontinued and still has so many users long after Ma Lin retired says it all. As a user myself, I'd confidently say "the Ma Lin Carbon is the textbook blade, the basic foundation of carbon blades." It really is the king of carbon. There's no more stable carbon blade than this.

This is an inner-carbon blade that emphasizes spin and control.
Performance-wise it feels like a middle ground between all-wood and inner-carbon blades — nothing stands out in particular, and my impression is that it's a safe, well-rounded blade. I feel like it goes with pretty much any rubber.

Both the spin and control are great. I've been playing table tennis for quite a while and I keep coming back to this one. I think it works well with unusual rubbers too.
