This is my current blade.
The details of the blade I use: weight → 93 grams, grip → FL.
I generally have trouble with the feel and grip-on-the-ball of special-material blades.
Out of all the blades I've tried so far, this is the only one I could actually handle.
Reasons I'm using it now
Despite bouncing quite a bit, it holds the ball incredibly well, so it's very easy to control.
As for holding the ball, it's good enough that it almost feels like the ball sticks to it for a moment.
My impression is that the harder you hit, the more the ball draws an amazing arc as it lands in your opponent's court.
Personally, I find loop drives quite easy to pull off with this.
By the way, I'd recommend it to players using inverted rubber on both sides too, but it's especially good for people who have an unusual rubber (short pips, variable-spin pips, long pips, anti-spin, or OX rubber) on one side.
The unusual-rubber side really changes things up.

Zootopia (Experience: ６〜１０ years) Easy backhand drive over the table

My good impression was that backhand drives over the table were really easy to hit. Stops were easy to do too, and I could produce pushes that really dug in, so the short game overall was easy to handle. In rallies after backing away from the table, even though the ball travels in a fairly straight line, it felt like it lacked speed compared to outer-carbon blades, which was a bit of a struggle. Because of that, I felt this blade really suits a playing style centered on the backhand close to and at mid-distance from the table.
As for rubber, I think tension rubber suits it well. For the backhand, a slightly softer tension rubber makes it easier to attack consistently.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

This was a switch from the Korbel. The balance point is a bit more toward the blade, the weight is somewhat lighter, and the handle is a little thicker.
The spin level is about the same as the Korbel. The speed was just a bit livelier than the Korbel. The bounce isn't all that different from the Korbel either. However, the one area where it's clearly superior to the Korbel is the size of the sweet spot. Because of that, if you pair it with spin-oriented rubber, it can sometimes go long.
In conclusion, beginners can use it, but I don't think you can really master it unless you're an advanced player who can adjust the blade angle with your wrist.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

Just amazing, in a word. It generates spin really well, which is great. It's light, fast, and the design is nice too. There's not much bad to say about it, and since it's ZLC I like it, and it really flies.

It's an inner fiber blade, and I was using ALC before, but since this is ZLC, the ball really flies. Also, it has a strong wood-like feel.

I switched to this from a hardcore outer carbon blade. I'll review it by technique, comparing it against my sense of outer carbon and 5-ply wood.
[Light shots]
- Feels close to 5-ply wood and doesn't fly on its own.
- Gentle enough that even beginners can handle it.
[Blocks]
- Not very stable. Any slight unevenness in your contact shows up clearly compared to other blades — it hits the net or goes long, which is a downside typical of inner-type blades.
[Drives]
- Grazing shots don't produce fast balls, but the amount of spin is excellent.
- When you really sink the ball in and drive through it, you get that heavy, fast ball that's exactly what ZLC is about. It's a bit demanding, though.
[Over the table]
- As long as you don't try to flick/strike it, it's very easy to handle, and if you try to add spin, it grips well.
- If you try to add speed, the bounce becomes inconsistent.[Feel with Long II on the backhand]
- It doesn't fly wildly and stays on the table.
- Chops from away from the table slip through cleanly with a low trajectory.
- Pushes and blocks that catch the side of the ball are especially easy to do.
I'd like to recommend it as a first special-material blade, but since it won't fly properly — or will fly way too much — unless you can control your impact precisely, I can only recommend it to players who already have a solid foundation.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

I've tried a lot of blades so far, but personally I think this is the best one! Compared to the Layer ALC, on light shots the Layer ZLC feels like it doesn't bounce as much and holds the ball better. But on strong shots it really bounces well. Overall it's very stable, and it's almost funny how consistently the ball lands on the table!
