      When I first held the grip, my impression was that it's square and thick.
      I'd never used a square grip before, so it felt strange at first.
      But once I actually used it, the impact doesn't shock your hand at all. It's extremely bouncy.
      When I block a strong drive or power drive from my opponent, I don't lose to the power at all. I can just line up the angle and return it.
      It's very hard and bouncy so it takes some getting used to, but the ball you hit gets good spin and power too.
      Once you're used to it, the destructive power is outstanding.

      I usually use wood blades, but special-material blades really do have a noticeably different sound and feel. This one isn't an inner type, so it feels especially hard. But maybe because it's designed thin, I didn't feel like spin was hard to generate on topspin drives. That said, the trajectory of the drive felt clearly more straight-line compared to something like the Korbel, so I don't think it's very suited to beginners or players who want stability on their drives. On the flip side, I felt flat hits, including blocks, could be used as a real finishing shot. Also, mine is ST, but this angular grip feels like something between a normal ST and FL, and I really like that it doesn't wobble despite being ST.
