You should know this — it's actually a soft racket. This racket is easy to use, and the feel is top-notch. Opinions might be split, but I think the people who like this racket are the ones who really brush the ball properly. Honestly, people who say it's hard to use or that it flies too much probably just have less skill or a slower swing speed. If you swing properly, catch the ball well, and really grip it, you can produce the best shots you've ever hit. It'll be tough with a half-hearted swing or contact. Compared to the ALC — the ALC is way more popular, and sure, it's easy to use in a way that appeals to everyone, but honestly, the ALC feels lacking to me. I basically prefer outer carbon rackets, so I used to use the Zhang Jike ALC and found it easy to use too, but personally, I'm firmly on the side of the Jun Mizutani ZLC. In the end, feel and shot quality come down to personal preference once you try it, but I definitely prefer the feel of the ZLC. In recent years, this racket is without a doubt the top racket for me. Tension rubbers match it perfectly. Out of the Tenergy series, the 64 was the best.

It really flies!
It's a bit hard to control, but it flies solidly.
Once you get used to it, you can control it well and really put spin on the ball.
The short game feels a bit hard to do... though that's probably just my own lack of skill.
For topspin rallies, the stability is outstanding — nothing more to ask for.

The feel is quite hard, and I'd say the bounce is on the good side too.
It's a lot like the Timo Boll ALC, but compared side by side, I think this one might be more of a love-it-or-hate-it racket.
The blade thickness is basically the same as the Timo Boll ALC — aside from the special material layers, the only difference is the surface wood.
I believe the Mizutani ZLC uses limba, while the Timo Boll ALC uses koto.
I think you can play more powerfully than with the Timo Boll ALC, but you might find it harder to put spin on the ball.
If that's the case, I'd recommend a softer rubber.
Strong players tend to put something like Tenergy 05 on it, but personally that feels way too stiff to me.
I think something around the 64 range suits both the forehand and backhand best.

The spin on serves is insane — when I put full backspin on it, it's sharp enough to come back on the table.
Drives are also easy to hit, and drives during topspin rallies especially are really stable and get plenty of spin, so I never lose a topspin rally. I think players who mainly rely on their drive will love this racket.
Third-ball attack drives are also easy to hit.
It's pricey, but I don't think you'll regret buying it.

It's pretty hard and flies well! You might not be used to it at first, but you'll adjust with use.
Since it's a hard, bouncy racket, once you master your topspin drive you can hit really powerful drives with it.
That said, it's on the heavier side, so I can't really recommend it for people who want to hit at a fast pace, bang-bang style. I think it's the perfect racket for hitting powerful drives from mid-distance to away from the table, like Jun Mizutani.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

It's been a while since I bought a high-end racket.
This racket really is made for tension rubbers. With just the right amount of bounce, it made me reconsider ZLC material. The grip looks cool, and the bounce is great too — it's the best.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard
