    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Highly rated as a high-performance racket for advanced players. It offers better control than ALC with a straighter trajectory, and delivers exceptional performance with proper rubber selection and solid fundamentals. However, beginners find it difficult to handle and require gradual skill development.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Superior balance between ALC's flight characteristics and operational control with linear trajectory
    • Surprisingly suitable for short-range play including stops and flicks
    • Excellent compatibility with Tenergy 80 series to counteract hardness
    • Advanced player racket that requires strong fundamentals to maximize potential
    • Fast ball release demands high swing speed and technical skill
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositivePreviously flew too much with ALC and was difficult to operate, but switching to Mizutani Jun ZLC makes it much easier to control. Its compatibility with Tenergy 80 is excellent, and it adapts well to all-around play. Despite the high price, it delivers performance worthy of the investment.
▽ CriticalThe excessive bounce made it impossible for me to master, and I found a wooden racket more suitable. This is an advanced player's racket, difficult for intermediate players, requiring adjustments for short-range play and control.

As for the outer ply layup, since the wood is soft, you get a good grip-on-the-ball feel both in the short game and during rallies.
Because of that, it's easy to get spin on the ball while also getting good ball speed. Even on shots that don't need much power, the ball just flies off on its own (lol)

As for rubbers, other than tacky ones, I don't think it's picky — pretty much anything goes well with it.

The feel on contact is a bit hard, but there's a brief moment where it grips onto the ball.
Blocking close to the table is excellent and very stable, and two-handed topspin drives from mid-distance to away from the table are super easy to hit.
Controlling a heavily sliced push is a bit tricky, but overall it's an all-around blade you can use for anything.
Addendum: if you put Tenergy 80 (thick) on both sides, the hardness on contact is noticeably softened and your overall control improves too.
A bit late to mention, but for reference, this is basically the same spec as what Mizutani uses.

It's easy to use, and thanks to the carbon, shots still land even when you back away from the table.

This is super easy to use❗ It's a bit flat in trajectory, but the speed and spin are both perfect❗ I'm not a huge fan of the feel on contact, but I'd still say give it a try!

Totally works for intermediate players too!
Since the blade is thin, it's easy to put spin on the ball, and with the ZLC it's got good bounce too, so you can still land your drives even backing away from the table! The best!

Table Tennis section of Oita Prefecture (Experience: 2〜3 years) Racket of choice for advanced users

I thought it was fantastic in every way — speed, spin, and control. But I felt like it doesn't send much shock into your hand. For lobs, you can just tap the ball back into your opponent's court, and counters are easy too. I feel like I can play it close to the table, mid-distance, or away from the table, all equally well!
