I switched over from the Zhang Jike ALC.
The grip on the Zhang Jike ALC felt a bit thick to me personally, and the feel was hard, so it was hard to sense the ball gripping the blade through my hand. I was looking for a blade with a thinner grip that kept a similar speed while still giving a solid sense of holding the ball, and that's how I ended up with this one.
The top ply is limba here, compared to koto on the Zhang Jike. Comparing the two, the feel on this one is much softer, you can really feel the ball being held, and for an outer ALC blade it's easy to control.
I figured that gaining more ball-holding feel would cost some speed, but since the blade is a bit thicker than the Zhang Jike, there isn't much of a difference (maybe it dropped slightly).
That said, individual blades can run a bit heavier, so if that matters to you, it might be worth checking before you buy.
Personally I think the ball-holding feel, speed, and control are all put together at a very high level with great overall balance — a really excellent blade.
If you want an outer blade but are after both ball-holding feel (which is really this blade's strongest point) and speed, I'd recommend this one.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

I switched over from the Fortius FT. It's light and easy to swing, but still gives you plenty of spin and speed, which is great. Even when you step back from the table, if you put enough spin on the ball it still lands deep in your opponent's court. If I had to name one downside, it flies a bit too much until you get used to it.

The first thing I noticed was how much it bounces. Until you get used to it, you'll send balls long. Lobs come off with very little effort, and from mid-distance you can attack with power drives. That said, I don't think you can really bring out its full potential without good footwork. Close to the table, you need to swing almost horizontally or you won't be able to keep topspin shots in play. Over the table, it's easiest if you think of returning the ball gently with a soft touch.

These are my thoughts after using it for a bit over 3 years (still using it now).
For me personally, the best thing about this blade is the feel. It makes a sound close to metal, which makes it fun to hit with. That said, since it's an outer carbon blade, it flies quite a bit. I also felt the ball leaves the blade fairly fast. So speed drives come out really quick, but be careful because if you put too much power into your stroke, you can lose control.
I don't really get the impression that it flies too much on serves or in the short game.
I'd definitely recommend it for a style like Freitas's, rallying and grinding it out from mid-distance. If you mainly play close to the table, a blade with a bit less bounce might suit you better.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Since it's arylate carbon, I think the feel is really good. It generates a decent amount of spin and the speed is fast. That said, the ball leaves the blade quickly, so control is a bit tricky. Also, being arylate carbon, if we're talking about how far it flies, the ZLC version flies and bounces more. The design looks cool too, black with white lines running through it. Both the flare and straight grips are easy to use with either hand.

Both the box packaging and the grip design look cool.

It has quite a lot of bounce. At first my drives kept going long, haha. But once you get used to it, it's actually pretty easy to use.
