Bought this from a table tennis site.
Like the rest of the Goriki series, it uses walnut for the top ply and Kiso cypress on the inside, and it's the lightest blade in the Goriki lineup.The first thing I noticed was that even though it's a hard material, it holds the ball really well.
It holds onto the ball more than you'd expect, so even if your contact point drops, it still sends the ball in low and deep on your opponent's side.
Second, because the blade is hard and heavy, blocks didn't feel like they were getting pushed back.
Even though it's the lightest in the Goriki series, at around 95g it's still on the heavier side compared to typical blades, so it didn't get knocked back even against fairly powerful shots.I think medium to thick rubber suits it best. This blade shows its strengths more when you use the wood's own rebound to send the ball rather than relying on the rubber, and it lets you produce balls that are hard for your opponent to handle.
The price is noticeably higher than a typical blade, but it might be worth trying at least once.

When you're going for pure speed with drives, counters, or smashes, you don't really get that much speed out of it. On the receiving end, it feels like you get balls with more spin rather than speed. Across the Gouriki lineup in general, I feel the character of whatever rubber you use comes through strongly. Compared to the regular Gouriki, I feel a real difference on thick contact — the Gouriki Super Drive gives you a better ball on thick contact. Maybe because it uses hinoki wood, you don't get much of that "ring," but you really do feel the ball-holding.
Gouriki blades in general also pair well with STIGA's harder rubbers.
Personally I like shots that come out fast and punch through, so overall I'd give it an 8.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

The core is soft, so when you hit a backhand you get a clear sound that makes it easy to tell you hit it right.
Both forehand and backhand make a sound, so it resonates in your hand.
Blocking and countering are easy.
This is a blade that really clicks once you switch to Goriki Super Drive.
Backhand, backhand counter, backhand push, and backhand drive all became more consistent, so it feels like it's steadily building up stability, which is great.
I'm not good at hitting with spin on the forehand drive, so I can't really speak to that.
Countering is easy too.
It's a heavy blade, and it's the blade I'd been wanting.

I use this for large ball, and I've added 3 grams of power tape at the tip to shift the balance point toward the tip. It's a heavy blade to begin with, but since it's for large ball, it takes advantage of both the ball-launching feel and the good ball-holding at the same time.
The blade itself keeps the bounce in check and makes it easy to put on spin, so depending on how you hit it, you can either graze the ball thin or really load it up with spin - I think that's a nice feature. That said, for standard hard ball it tends to feel heavy, and the price is decent too, so please take this comment into account and definitely give it a try!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

I ended up here while looking for a blade that pairs well with Hurricane.
I tried STIGA's hardwood blades and the Vizcaria, and while Hurricane was easy to control on those, I felt my backhand got messy, so I picked up this 6-ply blade and it's really clicking for me now.With Hurricane, it launches the ball well - on par with hardwood or carbon blades -
and it's easy to lift on the backhand too, so if that's your style you'll probably love it.
I also tried Tenergy and Dignics series on the backhand, but the launch felt like it took away some of the blade's own character, so I'm using Fastarc instead.The feel is unique - like a single-ply blade but with extra grab added on - so I think opinions will be split.
It's far easier to handle than a carbon blade, and I like the grab feeling more than hardwood blades, so I've been using it as my go-to.

It's quite heavy, but I felt the drives that can blast through in one shot and the ironclad blocking were both excellent.

This isn't a blade for long pips.
This blade has 6 plies (walnut outer plies, with 4 layers of kiso hinoki cypress inside).
For me, it's the best blade Nittaku makes. It's a little heavy, but I like that.
Perfect for both mid-distance and close-to-the-table play, and good for transitioning between defense and attack, and back again.
