The Japanese shooting star Yuto Muramatsu was a key contributor to the development of this high-end blade. It is a fast DEF blade offering modern defenders, in addition to great reliability in defense, all they need to create their own sudden counter-attacks. The special White Mahogany outer ply of the 5-ply design harmonizes perfectly with Yuto's OFF power, while the VICTAS design team was also able to improve defense control and precision even further. Yuto Muramatsu is a VICTAS quality product "Made in Japan".

Bought this to boost my attacking power beyond the Defplay Pro.
As expected, it flies really well
Chops have real bite - my chops used to be a bit shallow, but now they're deep and low, harder to return
On the other hand, I get a few more mishits now, but that should improve with practice
Attacks have amazing power and speed - for a chopping blade, only something like the Kohji Matsushita Offensive comes close. It's way faster than a thinner 5-ply blade
It's labeled as a defensive blade, but it definitely earns that OFF- ratingOverall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

It's not as heavy as I expected.
Pretty easy to use!
Chopping, pushing, and other cutting motions are really easy to do!

This blade has good control. I used to use an SK Carbon, but it was light and bounced too much, leading to a lot of overshoot misses. But after switching to this blade, at 91g with 5-ply construction, blocking and chopping are easy to do. Because the blade size is large, chopping and blocking are easy, but since the surface is wide, smashes sometimes didn't go in. This blade is good for people who chop and block. I play forehand inverted, backhand inverted, but I think forehand short pips/backhand inverted would also work well. Forehand long pips should also be fine for chopping. It also matches well with tacky rubber. Sorry for the long post

Switching over from a Zhu Shihe blade, it felt quite light. Performance-wise, maybe because the blade is light, I noticed a bit more overshoot misses.
On attack, you can put enough power into one shot to blow right through.
Rallying is also easy.
Since the blade itself is on the lighter side, you can even put a heavier spin-oriented tension rubber on it!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

Switched from the Kohji Matsushita, looking for a blade with more bounce.
The plywood is hard, but the white mahogany surface layer seems to absorb the power of the ball, giving a good feel on contact.
It's listed as a bouncy Offensive+, but when I actually hit with it, it only bounces a little more than the Kohji Matsushita.
At first I tried it with Talkie Fire Drive thick and it didn't bounce at all...
When I switched to my VS402 Double Extra 2.0 that I had on hand, it held shots down decently on chops, and bounced nicely on attacks - good balance.
However, since the sponge was hard, after switching to Fastarc G1 max thickness, drives became easier to hit, and chops sink into the rubber for a moment without flying too far - so far this combination is a great match. This is better than any chopping blade I've used before. It gets good distance, and the spin makes it easy to attack. Yet chops still land in. It's similar to the Kohji Matsushita Offensive, but the ball sits on it a bit longer, which brings stability to both attacking and chopping. The grip is a slightly rounded flat type that's easy to hold. What really stands out is how good the feel on contact is. Blades with this pleasant a feel are rare.
