The first thing that surprised me hitting with this blade was the feel off the ball. Since this was my first outer-carbon blade, I was expecting that sharp "crack" feel, but I was surprised by how soft it felt, more like an inner-carbon or wood blade. For comparison, it felt completely different from the Kenta Matsudaira ALC I borrowed and hit with from a friend.
For an outer blade I'd say it generates a fair amount of spin, but on the flip side it doesn't feel like it has that much speed.
The short game over the table is pretty tricky with this one. That's where the "outer" character still shows through, I think.
It might also be because the backhand rubber is soft, but I felt the meet-hitting on the backhand dropped off a bit.Also, the grip is on the thicker side, so coming from Nittaku blades I found it hard to hold and was pretty thrown off. If you have small hands, it might be worth gripping it in a store first — it really made me realize how easy-to-hold and sharp Nittaku's models are by comparison.
To sum up: easy to use and generates spin, but the speed is just okay for an outer blade, and the short game isn't great. The feel off the ball is on the soft side.
If you buy it somewhere cheap you can get it for under 10,000 yen, which is quite affordable for an outer blade. I think it's well worth trying.

I have the Xiang Long on the forehand. Even though it's an outer special-fiber blade, the feel off the ball is slightly soft, so you don't really feel the hardness of the Chinese rubber, and you don't lose much power in the swing either. Wood-blade users might find the feel a bit hollow at first, but of course you get used to it with use. It's said to resemble a certain manufacturer's now-discontinued model, and the grip shape really is very similar. The Arylate has a slightly softer feel off the ball though.
This one is also lighter in weight.

You feel a slight sense of the ball being held during a topspin drive. The ball leaves the blade quickly, it makes a metallic sound, and it's bouncy.
Over the table it bounces too much, so it lacks control. You need to compensate with a low-bounce or spin-oriented rubber. Flicks are easy, I'd say.
I think it suits players who like to attack on the third ball, drive, or counter-hit. Watch out because blocks tend to go long.
Aside from the metallic sound, it feels somewhat similar to the Viscaria....Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

I tried driving with it
and was extremely satisfied.

The feel off the ball is like a softer Viscaria. In terms of feel it's close to the Ma Long Carbon, but softer than that.
It's an outer-carbon blade, but it also has an inner-carbon-like feel, so it's pretty easy to use.
