It's extremely stable close to the table and at mid-distance, giving you both bounce and spin at the same time. Even though it's tacky, the speed is excellent too, producing shots with plenty of both speed and spin.

Speed and spin are both excellent.
Maybe because the feel is hard, brushing the ball up feels really good.

I was using the old-lot FL version.
I had tension rubber on both sides, but for someone who usually uses inner-type or all-wood blades, it feels very carbon-y, the ball leaves fast, and I got the impression it flies off before you can fully put spin on it.
It's back on sale now at a higher price, but it's basically identical to the Timo Boll ALC, Zhang Jike ALC, Kenta Matsudaira ALC, Fan Zhendong ALC, Lin Gaoyuan ALC, etc., so unless you really care, I think it's fine to just pick whichever outer ALC blade is cheapest, or choose based on which grip shape you prefer.
It's a good blade, but given that it used to sell for 10,500 yen, I don't feel like paying today's price for it.

On the forehand I put on Skyline 3 blue sponge, and on the backhand Nittaku Hurricane Neo 3.
Even with both sides on, it's around 175g, so even with my thin arms I feel like I can control it.

This is simply wonderful. I have to thank Butterfly for it. Anyone who wants to use the Viscaria is probably reading this review. Well, there are all kinds of people out there, so it's only natural opinions are split. In the end, you should just use whatever you want to use.

So many pros use this outer ALC blade that it made me want to try it too!
Whether I swing hard or hit relaxed, I get pretty much the same ball.
I also felt the sweet spot is wide. The flare hurts my fingers if I don't sand it down a bit (just my case).
Topspin drives and counters have real power.
Backhand blocks are easy to do too.

Too much (Experience: More than ２０ years) Outer ALC but surprisingly good dwell

Until now I thought outer ALC blades just knock the ball back without much spin.
I ordered the heaviest one in stock from an online shop, and ended up with a 94g racket (lol)I told myself I probably couldn't handle tacky rubber, but I put on Hurricane NEO3 blue sponge at 40 degrees anyway.
Hurricane rubber is often lighter than Tenergy, so a lot of the time you need a heavier blade to get the total weight up to 190g, otherwise you never reach the weight where tacky rubber really shows its strengths.
I got lucky here.Compared to the 88g one I've had for a long time, the top ply looks slightly thicker.
Measured with digital calipers, it's 5.8mm vs 5.7mm, on the thicker side.
Maybe because of that, even brand new it holds the ball well, but when you hit it hard there's also a real sense of the ball flying off.
The blades with a thicker top ply seem to hold the ball well even with outer ZLC, so I don't think I'm imagining it.
Light hits feel a bit more like an inner blade, and hard hits feel more like an outer blade, which surprised me a little.For some reason it also matches surprisingly well with Chinese rubber.
The contrast is really clear, and it's a fun blade to use in matches.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft
