I used to have a Fan Zhendong ALC with Hurricane NEO3 on the forehand and Hammond Z2 on the backhand, but switching to the Niwa Koki Wood with V15/V11 made things quite a bit heavier. It's more stable than before though, so that's good ( ` -´ )b Niiice✨
On the backhand drive, if I don't get enough impact on the ball it drops short m(_ _)m yeah. It's stable, but there were quite a few times mid-rally where I thought "uh oh, this might drop."Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

My Niwa Koki Wood is super light at 82g, and compared to other people's Niwa Koki Woods, I feel like mine flies a little less! I was overshooting with an inner-carbon blade, so I switched to this wood one, and my impression is: if you hit against backspin with the same brush-and-catch motion you'd use on an inner-carbon blade, it doesn't go in at all. So once I started swinging a bit more forward right after that brush-catch contact, the ball drops onto the table nicely!
Another technique I found really easy with this was countering topspin - I found it incredibly strong against topspin! Maybe it's because I have a Victas rubber on the forehand, but it pairs amazingly well with the blade, and I hardly ever felt overpowered on counters or in topspin rallies!
The thing I personally found really easy to do with this was the chiquita - it was incredibly easy! I have Monkey Spin on the backhand, and I was surprised at how well they went together, lol!
I'd really recommend this blade to anyone like me who finds inner or outer carbon blades fly too much, or a 5-ply blade doesn't have enough speed!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

This feels better than Nittaku's Violin or Acoustic.
The feel is hands down the best.
Crisp and snappy. Fantastic loop drives. The flex and the spin are amazing. For an all-wood blade, it's fast. At least as fast as my Viscaria. If you need even more speed, go for a heavier one - even 90g or more is fine. The control is hands down the best too.
You just never get the same feel or control with carbon. Today I played with the same rubber as on my Viscaria, and compared to the Niwa Koki, the Viscaria felt dull with less spin.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

The feel is on the firmer side, so spin-based techniques like drives and pushes are easy, and being a 7-ply wood blade it's stable. On top of that, compared to the SK7 Classic or Clipper Wood, it feels a lot lighter, so it's easy to swing all the way through.
It's well balanced, and I think it's a very good blade that lets you hit high-level shots with every technique.
I also think it would work well playing as a chopper with short pips on it.
I feel like it might be a bit too hard for long pips, though.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Mine was an FL, a lightweight one at 81.5g.
Overall it's a really well-balanced 7-ply!
The feel is a bit on the hard side, ball-holding is decent, and it doesn't fly too far, which makes flat-hit shots easy to control.A lot of people pair it with V>15 Extra, but I found that quite hard for my taste. If you can swing all the way through, though, you'll get a lot of power out of it.
On the other hand, I felt a soft 42.5° rubber couldn't fully bring out what this blade can do.
A slightly tacky rubber or something around 48° was easier for me to handle.By the way, this is kind of obvious, but
even with the same setup, the 88g one had more pace on the ball than the 81.5g one.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

This pairs really well with very hard rubbers.
It's not that a soft rubber doesn't work at all, but a harder rubber will bring out this blade's strengths better.
I use this blade with speed as my priority, but I think players who prioritize spin could use it without any issues too.
I'm not sure about pips, but I'm sure short pips would pair well with it.
