The consistency on pushes and stops is outstanding!
It's designed on the heavier side, so I think it's a great fit for people who feel too light using a carbon blade.
It might be a bit harder to handle fast shots like counters, though...

The perfect blade for pips-out style players combining inverted rubber with something else. It's a bit softer than a standard 7-ply, and that helps a lot both with putting spin on and with defense. It's light, but you don't get pushed around by the incoming ball, and being light makes switching between shots easy. Flat hitting also works well - since the speed is kept a bit in check, you can still hit hard and stay in control. The feel is good too. If I had to name a weakness, it's the flip side of the defensive ease - the speed feels a little lacking.

With a hard rubber on it, the combo was absurdly stiff, but for me as an all-forehand, full-swing type player, it was just right. My friend said "no way, not this one" lol I was looking for a heavy, fast 7-ply blade, so this really helped! The blade weighed exactly 190g on the scale.

It has the same ply construction as the Swat Power.

A wonderful blade!
It handles power plays like topspin drives with ease, of course, but delicate short-game techniques
just as easily.
The feel is just right too.
If I had to name a downside, I'd say it's on the heavy side,

Since I mainly play counter-style, I have hard 15 Extra on both sides.
Overall the balance is really good.
Forehand and backhand drives, and flat meet-shots especially, are easy to pull off.
It doesn't fly too far, so counters land in the table too.
I think rubbers from the V15 series suit it well.
The short game felt a bit fast to me.
It generates plenty of speed too,
so I'd recommend it to anyone who wants more speed on the ball

I've hit with this blade before, so I'd like to review it.
It pairs well with tacky rubbers, tension rubbers, short pips, and long pips, so I think it's a blade that appeals to just about everyone.
On the attacking side, this blade is on the faster end, so I got good speed and power out of it. It doesn't have that "flies on its own" feeling that carbon blades have; instead you get the grip and speed unique to wood. Also, the thickness makes it fairly heavy, so you can block and counter without getting overpowered by the opponent's shots.
Pushes and stops also don't have much of that "flies on its own" feeling, since it's wood.
It's used not only by Niwa but also by overseas players and national-level college players, so I think it's a well-balanced, trustworthy blade. I think it pairs well with pretty much any rubber, so I think this is a great blade for players who've only ever used 5-ply blades, dislike carbon, but still want more speed.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard
