I'm a forehand-focused, close-to-the-table attacker with short pips on the backhand. As you'd expect from a Niwa model, it left nothing to be desired when playing close to and mid-distance from the table. Blocks and counters in particular are easy on both wings, and it's really made for close-to-the-table play. The short game is easy too - pushes and flicks come naturally - and I think it's a perfect match for players who attack aggressively from the front rather than just blocking to deflect the opponent. I especially want backhand short-pips players to try this one. I'm not totally sure why, but it's easy to hit flat with, and the handling on variation shots is fantastic too. Highly recommended.

I use a Chinese penhold grip.
Before this I used the Swat from the same maker.
It's good!
That one word says it all (though of course it depends on rubber compatibility, individual differences, and preference).
For now, this is the only choice for me.
I might keep using it alongside the Swat until I get a bit more used to it.
Next I want to try it with Triple/Double Extra on both sides.

This is the best blade!
I bought it because I love Koki Niwa. I thought only a genius like him could handle it, but that's not true at all! Everything from here is my impression with V15 Extra on it. Drives don't fly too far and still get plenty of spin. Blocks and counters just seem to go in on their own. Short-game techniques like pushes are easy too. Chops go in easily as well. Honestly, I don't feel like there's anything bad about it. If you're a close-to-the-table attacking player, you should try this at least once.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

I'd always used a carbon blade before, but I bought this because I wanted to switch to an all-wood one.
I also wanted to move from one-shot-kill table tennis toward valuing rallies and stability, so on a recommendation I put Ventus on it.I got exactly the performance I was after - stability close to the table, and the reassurance from the blade's thickness that I won't get pushed around by the opponent's shots no matter how they come in.
In practice I felt a slight lack of power, but in match play, even from a broken-down position, the good ball-holding lets me keep control, so if anything the power of my connecting shots actually felt like it went up.
In pure mid-distance exchanges I do feel a lack of power, but thanks to how easy it is to counter and the good control, I've been able to win more points in rallies than before.I think this blade shines more in matches than in practice, so I'd really recommend trying it out in a match-style hit.
Also, it pairs amazingly with Ventus. If you're after stability, definitely give it a try.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

I used to use a Timo Boll ZLF before this, and this one feels a bit heavier than that.
I use long pips, so if you run inverted rubber on both sides it'll probably feel even heavier.
That said, it seems to bounce off even with a light touch, so you don't need that much power.
I chop occasionally, and it goes in reliably.

Since it's a 7-ply I don't feel like I lose out against the opponent's spin (maybe because I'm in junior high) when I switched blades I honestly felt like everything went in it flies with light force so you can counter with just a light touch though stops are hard unless you really cut the ball also this doesn't matter but it smells really strong lol

I'm an all-forehand player with inverted rubber on both sides.
I've used this for about a year.This blade makes it easy to put spin on the ball, and the feel is fantastic. It's just plain fun to hit with (lol)
On loop drives especially, you can feel in your hand that the spin really caught.I also remember reading somewhere, maybe in a magazine, that it pairs really well with Victas's V15 series rubbers, and after trying it myself I understood what that meant. I can't quite put it into words, but the blade and rubber feel like they become one, drawing out each other's strengths efficiently. Countering with V15 Extra on it is easy, and as long as you make contact, you won't get overpowered.
If I had to name a downside, the grip is thick and squared off like a block of timber - I like it, but it won't suit people who prefer a thinner grip.
Also, compared to the Innerforce Layer ZLC, I felt the sweet spot was narrower.
I'd recommend this blade to players who want to attack with loop drives.
