  Ordinary cutman (Experience: ２〜３ years) Wish I'd found this sooner

  

  This is such a good blade that I wish I'd found it sooner.
  Being a chopping blade, the speed didn't feel all that fast.
  Since the blade flexes, I got the impression that it's easy to put spin on.
  As for control, since it doesn't bounce much, it was easy to handle.
  The feel was kind of soft and hollow.
  The hardness is on the softer side.
  Since the blade doesn't bounce much, I felt that putting spin-oriented tension rubber on it would make chops bite even more and make spin-heavy techniques like drives even easier to pull off.
  The stability of my chops against hard hits is personally very good.
  Lastly, depending on the rubber, this blade can attack just fine too. Modern chopping blades tend to bounce a lot, but blades like this one with the bounce kept in check still have excellent stability.
  If you're a chopper currently using a bouncy chopping blade, why not give this one a look?

  もっと早く出会いたかったと言えるほどかなり良いラケットです。
  スピードはカット用なのでそこまで速い感じはしませんでした。
  回転はラケットがしなるのでかけやすい印象がありまた。
  コントロールは弾まない分、扱いやすかったです。
  打球感はポコポコといった感じでした。
  硬度は柔らかめ。
  ラケットが弾まないので、スピン系テンションを貼るとカットのキレや、ドライブ等の回転をかける系の技術がより一層やり易くなるんじゃないかなと思いました。
  強打に対するカットの安定感は個人的に非常に良いです。
  最後に、このラケットはラバーによっては普通に攻撃が出来ます。現代のカット用のラケットは弾みがちだけど、弾みが抑えられているラケットにも非常に安定感があります。
  弾むカット用ラケットを使用しているカットマンの方、一度、目をつけてみてはいかがでしょうか？

  Hetare Cutman (Experience: ４〜５ years) Satisfying feel

  

  I switched to this racket from the Matsushita Kouji.
  The stability on chops is outstanding, and it was really easy to generate spin. Drives also come out with decent speed.
  If you put on a tension rubber, I think you can get plenty of power on the attacking side too.
  The blade is soft, and that comes through directly in the feel, so I'd recommend it to anyone who likes a softer racket.
  Just going by feel, compared to the Matsushita Kouji, this one was better for ease of generating spin, the feel, and the power on drives.

  松下浩二からこのラケットに変えました。
  カットの安定感は抜群で、回転がすごくかけやすかったです。ドライブもそこそこスピードが出ます。
  テンション系のラバーを貼れば、攻撃面においても十分な威力を出せると思います。
  ブレードが柔らかく、それが打球感にもろに出るので、柔らかいラケットが好きな方にお勧めです。
  体感ですが、松下浩二と比べて、回転のかけやすさ、打球感、ドライブの威力が良かったです。

  Chiyo (Experience: More than ２０ years) My personal best blade

  

  Among all the chopper blades I've used, this is personally the best.
  The performance is good enough that I don't think I'll ever switch hardbat blades again.
  The bounce is very well suppressed, chop control is very easy, the ball-holding is great, and it's an extremely soft blade. The feel is a soft, springy "poko-poko" type, but after using it for a while it grows on you and becomes addictive. For attacking, backspin balls lift up easily thanks to the good ball-holding, while topspin-type balls fly off thanks to the blade's flex. The blade doesn't bounce much but flexes a lot, so it's like "no bounce when chopping, flex-driven flight when attacking."

  Comparing it to other companies' blades in terms of bounce, flex, and softness:
  Endless < Defensive Classic << Defplay
  The feel is closest to the Endless.

  Pretty much any rubber works with it.
  That said, personally I feel a harder tension rubber suits the forehand, and for pips I think going one sponge thickness up works better.

  The drawbacks are:
  - The top ply peels easily (a racket coating is a must)
  - The grip flares out at the sides
  - The grip is basically thick
  (discontinued now, but I'd recommend the MJP or CJP)
  If you're particular about the grip, I'd recommend checking the real thing in person before buying.

  これまで使用したカットラケットの中で個人的には最高だと思います。
  もう硬式ラケットを変更することは辞めるまでないと思うくらい良い性能です。
  弾みはかなり抑えられていて、カットコントロールがとてもしやすく、球持ちも良くて非常に柔らかいブレードです。打球感はポコポコ系ですが、しばらく使うと馴染んでクセになる打球感です。攻撃技術は下回転打ちは球持ちが良いため簡単に持ち上がり、上回転系にはしなりで飛ばせる感じです。ブレードは弾みませんがよくしなるため、「カットの際は弾まず攻撃の際はしなりで飛ぶ」感じです。

  他社ラケットで例えると、弾みとしなり、柔らかさを含めて、
  エンドレス<=ディフェンシブクラシック<<デフプレイ
  打球感はエンドレスに近いです。

  使うラバーもなんでも合います。
  ただ、個人的にはフォアは硬めのテンション、粒はスポンジを1つ厚くした方が合うかなと思います。

  難点は
  ・上板が剥がれやすい
  (ラケットコート必須)
  ・グリップのエラが張っている
  ・グリップが基本的に太い
  (廃盤ですがMJP、cjpお勧めです)
  です。グリップにこだわる方は一度実物を確認してから購入されることをお勧めします。

  gorilla (Experience: ４〜５ years) A must-try for defensive players

  

  Bought used through a flea-market app.
  When it comes to defensive technique, I think the performance is beyond complaint. Chops bite sharply, it's easy to add variation like gyro-spin chops or sidespin pushes, and you can even produce chops that dip down into the opponent's court. Blocks also stop the ball firmly, so
  I'd highly recommend this to defensive-style players.
  For attacking techniques like topspin drives and smashes, if you want more speed I'd recommend pairing it with a tension rubber. With this blade, I think you can play consistently even with a tension rubber on it.

  フリマアプリにて中古で購入。
  守備系の技術に於いては文句なしの性能だと思います。カットはよく切れて、ジャイロ回転のカットや横回転系ツッツキなどの変化もつけやすく、相手コートで沈む様なカットも出すことができます。ブロックもしっかり止まるので、
  守備型の選手にはかなりオススメです。
  ドライブ、スマッシュ等の攻撃技術に於いて、スピードを出したい場合はテンション系のラバーを貼ることをオススメします。このラケットであれば、テンションラバーを貼っても安定したプレーが出来ると思いました。

  lupin185 (Experience: ６〜１０ years) Outstanding stability!

  

  Went from the Defensive Classic → Koji Matsushita Normal → Defensive Pro → and back to the Defensive Classic.
  I went through a lot of trial and error, but in the end I came back to this one because I think consistency in returning the ball is what matters most for a chopper. I'm using Triple Double Extra rubber at 2.0mm thickness. I put it on because Koji Matsushita said on YouTube that he uses it. With a soft blade and hard rubber, my consistency has really improved. You can also attack plenty well by borrowing power from the rubber. If you want to stabilize your chops, I'd recommend this combination.

  ディフェンシブクラシック→松下浩二ノーマル→ディフェンシブプロ→ディフェンシブクラシック戻ってきました。　
  いろいろ迷走しましたが、最終的にカットマンはボールを返す安定感だと思い戻しました。ラバーはトリプルダブルエキストラの厚さ2.0を使用しています。松下浩二さんがYouTubeで使っていると言っていたので貼りました。柔らかいラケットと硬いラバーなので安定感が増しました。攻撃もラバーの力をかりて十分にできます。カットを安定させたい方はこの組み合わせをお勧めします。

  s3446 (Experience: ６〜１０ years) The new standard racket for choppers

  

  Since plastic balls came in, it's not just about being light anymore - the feel in your hand, how the ball comes up on attacking shots, and how easily you can generate spin have all become important too. The DEF Classic has a thin 5.1mm blade, so just swinging lightly naturally puts spin on the ball, which makes drives stable too, and even though it doesn't have much bounce, it still carries through - so even someone like me who tends to swing upward gets kept at just the right height, letting me get good distance even from far back without stress ✴

  It also feels great when chopping, and above all, techniques like curve-blocks, blocks, and counters stay stable and place the ball where you want, so unless a really high-level shot comes at you, I think you can handle it! Even max-thickness rubber is easy to keep chops in check with, so unless the rubber's degraded and flying off, you should be fine (^O^)v. Even with thick rubber, the carry-through means you don't have to worry about attacking ✴
  It works great even without carbon in the blade!!

  プラになってから軽いだけじゃなくて持つ感覚と攻撃時の上がり方や回転のかけやすさも重要視されてきてますが，DEF クラシックは板薄が5,1なのもあって軽く振るだけでも自然と回転がかかってくれるのでドライブも安定しますし弾まないけど伸びるので，スイングを上に振りがちな俺でもちょうどいい高さをキープしてくれるからストレスなく後ろからでも飛距離は稼げます✴

  カットしてる時の心地もいいですし，何よりカーブロングやブロック，カウンターなどの技術が安定&コースつけるからよほどのレベルが来ない限りは抑えきれると思います！ラバーの厚さも特厚でもカットが抑えやすいので劣化してとんでっちゃう！とかで無い限りは平気です(^O^)v 厚を貼ったときでも伸びのおかげで攻撃も心配無用✴
  カーボンでなくても全然いけますよ！！

  Gouchi fan (Experience: ６〜１０ years)

  

  I heard that Mr. Shiono was involved in developing this blade, and that Mr. Miuchi currently uses it, so I wanted to see just how good it is and tried it out. To cut to the conclusion: this is a blade that pushes chopping stability to the absolute limit. If you can't get stable chops with this blade, I'd have to say that's just a lack of skill - the stability is that far ahead of the rest. The blade is also thin and flexes well, so chops bite in sharply, and the feel has that deep, pleasant wood sound too. There's nothing particularly novel about it, but purely in terms of chopping performance, it's top-notch. I also think it pairs well with the same brand's DNA series and Vertical series. If you want stable chopping, go with S or M; if you want higher-quality chops and more attacking power, H is recommended. Since the blade doesn't have much bounce, even H with max-thickness rubber should still feel controllable. For long pips, if you want to make full use of the blade's stability, Vertical 20 is the way to go - I think it'll let you retrieve more balls.
  This is obviously a great pick for beginners just starting to learn to chop, but I also think intermediate and advanced choppers will find their range of coverage expanding even further with this. It's a gem worth trying at least once no matter what level chopper you are.

  塩野氏が開発に携わり、現在は御内氏が使用しているとのことでどれほどの性能か試したく使ってみました。結論から申し上げるとカットの安定感を極限までに高めたラケットです。このラケットを使ってもカットを安定させる事ができないのであればそれはもはや実力不足と言わざるをえないくらい、安定感が飛び抜けています。また板薄でよくしなるのでカットがかなり切れ、打球感も木材の深い心地の良い音がします。特段目新しいものはないですがカットの性能だけで見ればピカイチです。また同社のDNAシリーズやバーティカルシリーズとも相性は良いと思います。安定したカットを求めるならSかM、カットの質の高さや攻撃力を求めるならHがおすすめです。ラケットが弾まないのでHの特厚でも全然抑えられると思います。粒高はラケットの安定感をフルに発揮させるのであればバーティカル20ですね。拾える球が増えると思います。
  これからカットを覚える初心者の人にもおすすめなのは勿論、中、上級者のカットマンなら今以上に守備範囲が広がると思います。どのレベルのカットマンでも一度は使ってみて欲しい逸品です
