In Rakza 7 Soft the top sheet is the same as for Rakza 7. The sponge is softer which gives the rubber more sound and built-in speed glue effect. With Rakza 7 Soft the control characteristics are improved. After hitting the ball with top spin the curve of the ball is slightly higher, giving little bit bigger margins in the game. In the short return play, the ball feel is better.

This isn't a rubber with especially strong characteristics, but I didn't have trouble with most techniques. I put it on my backhand, and I didn't find backhand drives or short-game techniques hard to do. On the other hand, I found blocking difficult. Unless you match your racket angle to the incoming spin, your blocks won't be stable

They say this has the highest spin performance among Yasaka rubbers,
and it really is easy to put spin on.
Since it's soft, I think it's good to pair it with a blade that has a bit more bounce to make up for it.
Control and drives were both very easy to do.It's a good all-around rubber you can use on both forehand and backhand.
The price isn't too high either, so I think it's good value for money too.

I was using it on the backhand side of a Septear.
It's very stable, nothing to complain about.
When I tried hitting with it on the forehand side too, drives were very easy to do.
In conclusion, it seems to work well on both the forehand and backhand sides.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Used it on the backhand side of a Waldner CFZ.
The ball doesn't sink in.
Balls kept dropping off weakly.
Not sure why.
Maybe my playing style just doesn't match it.
I quickly switched to X Soft.
That one was stable.
I don't think it's simply about sponge hardness, but I can't help feeling that with a hard blade, the 7 Soft's sponge gets overpowered.
The durability is fantastic though!
Every rubber in the Rakza series lasts a long time!
Even if you catch it on the table edge a bit, it doesn't crack or chip like Fastarc and others do.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

I was surprised at how good the control was...
Flicks were pretty easy to do!

Counters and drives go in easily, and serves get plenty of spin on them too. This rubber suits drives well, but it also suits chopping.

My first impression was that it's an easy-to-use rubber.
It doesn't have explosive power, but the ball comes in with a nice arc. Spin is good too.
By the way, I also used Rakza X after this one, but X felt harder and flew higher, more suited to advanced drive players. X Soft might be different though.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
