Extreme power with extra spins in deadly aggression. Grippy top sheet accompanied by very hard Carbo Sponge and fully built-in speed-glue effect creates amazing power-spin performance. Maybe too hard for non-professionals to exploit the full capacity OMEGA IV ASIA provides the advantage to well trained players with higher swing speed. OMEGA IV ASIA stretches the ball from opponent's court very aggressively and low with extra spin. Extra precision and superb consistency from solid construction also benefit high-speed players.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Praised for exceptional speed performance, but criticized for difficulty in handling due to its hard sheet. Best suited for advanced players who can master its characteristics, not recommended for beginners or those lacking power.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Outstanding speed with direct, linear ball trajectories
    • Hard sheet makes short-range techniques difficult
    • Decent spin generation with strong ball projection
    • High-performance rubber that rewards skilled players
    • Excellent durability with good value for money
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveIncredible bounce and significantly increased smash speed. The most authentic Omega feel with excellent speed and strong sheet grip for reliable spin generation.
▽ CriticalHard sheet makes spin difficult to apply, causing short balls to float. Drives produce unstable trajectories with frequent errors, making it unsuitable for beginners.

Yutchi @ cut High raw performance

      Reviews by user

What really stands out is the ceiling on your topspin drive.
The sheer amount of spin and raw speed you can get are both really high!
It's not the type of rubber that gives you a big, stable arc, so I feel like it's more for advanced players. It's not a rubber that clicks for everyone, but for those it does click with, there's no doubt it delivers really high performance!
I'd love for people who are already used to XIOM rubbers and can really use them well to try this one!

see_saw (Experience: 11〜20 years) Excellent quick release and speed

      Reviews by user

The sheet is on the softer side and reacts well to spin, so even with relatively small impacts like serves and pushes, it's easy to put spin on the ball and get it moving. This is a rubber where the ball comes off quickly and speed is easy to generate, so it doesn't really feel like 47.5 degrees of hardness.
My impression is that it's like a slightly harder Vega Japan, or a slightly softer Vega Pro.
Quick ball release, good speed, a somewhat flatter/more linear trajectory, a soft sheet that makes both impact hits and flat hits easy, and strong against topspin - because it has these clear, easy-to-understand characteristics, I feel like it's also a rubber that helps you settle into a clear playing style.

    • I LOVE STIGA

I LOVE STIGA (Experience: 4〜5 years) It's decent.

      Reviews by user

I used this in thick thickness on my backhand.
It's a bit hard, but it has a decent amount of both speed and spin, so I think it's an easy rubber to use.
The downside is the weight of the rubber...

The bounce is amazing. The speed on flat hits goes up a lot.
The spin is decent, nothing more. Perfect for flat hitting.

    • Pin-chan

Pin-chan (Experience: More than 20 years) A slightly firm, all-round solid rubber

      Reviews by user

I think this rubber really shows what makes the Omega line special.
The speed is fantastic, and the sheet grips the ball strongly, so it puts plenty of spin on it too.
The trajectory feels a bit flat, but with topspin drives it does draw a proper arc, so I think this is a rubber whose performance changes depending on the player.
That said, it's still in the harder rubber category, so it might be a bit hard to use for beginners, junior high schoolers, or women's players who lack power.
At first I tried it on a Hurricane Long blade, but it felt like the ball flew off too strongly, so when I put it on a Long 2 instead I found it relatively manageable.
If you want to go full speed, a special-material blade could work too, but if you want something all-around, I feel a plain wood blade suits it better.
As for the sound of the ball hitting it, I'm personally a fan of that type.

Zwi (Experience: 2〜3 years) Easy to handle

      Reviews by user

I use this on my backhand.
There's no technique that's particularly hard to do, and it puts a decent amount of spin on the ball. The speed is really good. Personally, I found the chiquita easy to do with it.
It's very easy to use, so I recommend it.

Hard ping-pong man (Experience: 6〜10 years)

      Reviews by user

The sheet is hard, so it's a bit tricky to put spin on the ball. The speed is more than enough though, so I think it's a handy rubber for anyone who wants to make the most of speed.
