HMM 5 (Experience: 2〜3 years) Flat-hit type

It's on the firm side, but I'd still call it soft. Because of that, it's a bit hard to hit from mid-distance to away from the table. It's more of a close-to-the-table drive type rubber. The more properly you swing through, the more spin you get, so I think it's good for the forehand. For the backhand, you want a rubber that can really be swung through on the forehand. Defensive rubbers like anti-spin shouldn't be put on the backhand.

It works well with any playing style,
blocking is especially easy on the backhand,
if you're stepping up within the Vega line, I'd say this rubber is the best choice,All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

It's easy to serve with and generates a lot of spin.
Power drives are really easy to pull off, so I'd recommend putting it on the forehand. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

This rubber has a soft sponge. It generates spin and the control is good too. On top of that, it lasts a long time, so I think it's easy for beginners to use.
The sponge is soft and gives that sense of the ball sinking in.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

It's a fantastic rubber. Rather than beginner or intermediate players reaching for some random rubber, I think they'd be fine putting this on both sides.
Some say it's lacking on the forehand, but for the average player it produces more than enough speed and spin. In fact, for a player without much power like me, it can actually generate more powerful shots than a certain well-known spin-oriented tension rubber.
That said, the lifespan feels a bit short. I've only been using it for a month, but hit marks are already starting to show on the rubber...

It's recommended for beginners who've just learned the basics. It generates spin, and if you swing through properly you also get speed. It lifts backspin reasonably well too. That said, since practice and matches these days mostly use plastic balls, I felt like it wasn't generating as much spin. I think it's a bit hard to handle for intermediate or advanced players. So if you're interested in the Europe version, I think you'd get better value buying the Europe DF instead.

Really soft. Doesn't produce that much speed, but it gets a good amount of spin. The control is quite good. Personally I thought it suits both the forehand and backhand.
