• The Japanese have influenced an outstanding rubber development "Bluefire" which DONIC have successfully incorporated in the production of Formula DONIC (FD3 3rd Generation) Technology. The result: Bluefire JP01 and Bluefire JP03.
• This is a new type of pimpled rubber in combination with the proven, dynamic blue sponge but with a somewhat finer pored structure. This lends the rubber sensational feel, with maximum catapult and a very high arc of the ball. The very grippy, taut but elastic top surface rubber produces maximum spin when top-spinning and fantastic control due to increased contact on the bat.
• BLUEFIRE JP is a very consistent rubber and suitable for most players. The quickest and hardest sponge version, BLUEFIRE JP 01 is especially recommended for close to the table attacking players as well as those who prefer to play away from the table. BLUEFIRE JP 03 with a softer sponge has excellent playing qualities with optimum control. The perfect alternative for attackers as well as -power-allround- players, who value maximum control to return the ball under pressure in any situation. Using M3 made me love Bluefire, and I bought this one looking for the extra speed I felt was missing. The difference from M3 is obvious! This one wins hands down on distance. And yet the ball still draws a proper arc. A compact swing sends the ball flying all the way to land near the end line. The feeling of hitting a topspin drive was the best! In terms of value for money, I think this beats Tenergy.

First off, as the title says, this rubber has really high spin performance. On a full swing, the spin was about on par with Tenergy.
Also, while the bounce and initial speed are a bit behind Tenergy, that trade-off gives it better stability, so countering close to the table felt very reassuring.

Not great for beginners, but if an intermediate or better player uses it, it really transforms. Speaking as a chopper, it lets you keep your chops under control and still get good spin on them - the springy sponge gives you excellent control! Both pushes and counters are easy too since the sheet doesn't slip. I'd recommend this for choppers and intermediate-or-better attacking players, on both sides!

My first impression was that it's not as hard as I expected. The grip on the ball is good.
It was hard to put spin on the ball.
The trajectory is straight and there's some rebound, but it's not all that fast either.
There were times I overshot and times I netted it, so control is difficult.
The feel and sound on contact are very good.
When a shot landed well, the shot quality was excellent, but it was hard to pull that off consistently.

The way speed builds up on drives, and the amount of spin, are on a completely different level.
Serves get good spin too.

The ball leaves the rubber quickly, and it's hard to handle.
I think part of that is because I glued it onto a Yasaka heat-treated blade...
The sense of speed is very fast, and hitting it hard produces sharp, straight-line balls.
The spin is lower compared to Rasant.
So you really have to lift backspin balls a lot, otherwise they'll drop. They do drop.
Counters and blocks aren't exactly hard, but they're not easy either.
I think it's best glued onto a soft blade. With a 7-ply or heat-treated blade, it felt kind of off. It seems like it would suit an arylate blade or a 5-ply wood blade.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

These are my impressions after switching over from Rasant and trying this. Compared to Rasant, I personally find it easier to sink the ball in for spin. Serves come out with sharp spin. If you swing your drives firmly, you get speed and spin, but a half-hearted swing leads to an overshoot or a net miss. Another downside is that it doesn't last very long. If it lasted a bit longer, it would be a wonderful rubber.
