This new COPPA X2 offers a good balance between attacking and agressive allround table tennis.
Whether one is playing close or away from the table, speed, spin and control come naturally. Speed is of course inbuilt but durability has also been increased. An added bonus is that this rubber is well suited to produce power for a strong backhand player.
Sponge hardness: medium-
Playing characteristics: Well balanced rubber offering both speed and control.
Recommended for: Power-Allround, Spin, Block and Smash

Overall a high-performing, easy-to-use rubber. It's on the softer side — I used it on the forehand and got the impression that topspin drives were quite easy to hit.
Even brushing it lightly still gives you solid spin, and if you sink the ball in and drive through, you can get decent speed. The control is also top-notch.
I'd like just a touch more speed, but if your game is drive-focused, this is a really good rubber. It's also easy to hit flat with.
Advanced players can use it too, but since it's soft I'd recommend it on the backhand. On the forehand, players with strong impact might lose some power.

The Battle of Minoshima! A well-rounded performance rubber

This is a rubber that's hard to find fault with.
If I had to name one thing, it's that because it's not very sensitive to spin, sometimes your own shots don't pick up much spin depending on how you hit them.
Still, it has plenty of potential to hold up in real matches.
It's a solid, dependable rubber where the short game shines and stops really stay short.

There's nothing in particular that stands out about it — to put it nicely, it's gear without any extreme characteristics.
Because of that, there are very few techniques it struggles with, and it seems flexible enough to handle any situation.
That said, the power on drives is only about average, so that's the one thing I'd rather overlook, haha (sweat emoji).All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I borrowed one that had been put on a Sriver CI OFF and hit with it.
For a tension rubber it didn't bounce much — it flew more like a high-elasticity rubber.
The grip on the ball is weak, but you can still put spin on it.
Also, serves don't come out very sharp.
That said, it's not much affected by the opponent's spin, lands well, and lets you swing freely,
so I felt a meet-hitting style like you'd use with short pips suited it well.
My impression was like a Sriver that actually grips spin.

I'll keep this short.
Forehand speed drive: low arc, spin bites well
Forehand loop drive: also low arc, might be tough for beginners
Backhand speed drive: easy to control, good spin, higher arc
Backhand loop drive: easy to hit, no complaints

I use max thickness on my backhand. It's very soft and easy to meet-hit with. The topspin drive also gets solid spin. I didn't feel like there was any technique it struggled with — it feels like an all-around rubber. Not many shops carry it in-store, but you can get it online for around 3,000 yen, so it's great value for money.

I bought this because I heard it had excellent overall balance.
It's not super bouncy, but that means it's easy to control.
Also, going by the feel, it doesn't grab the ball hard on its own, so you have to actively put the spin on yourself to get much rotation.
Penhold loopers rely on one rubber to cover everything, so I'd recommend this one since it's not a rubber with extreme characteristics.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
