V > 01 Stiff is another innovation of the VICTAS V > 01 premium series for ambitious players. The German-Japanese team of designers (GJ Tec) succeeded in developing an extremely spinny offensive rubber which offers the perfect balance between speed and control to variable offensive strategists. The pimple geometry which is slightly more direct compared to V > 01, as well as the maximum tension of the High Energy Tension rubber sheet of V > 01 Stiff provide for excellent energy transfer when the bat hits the ball, thus developing great speed. The open-pore, state-of-the-art 45° high-performance sponge which is slightly softer than in V > 01 provides for more control in your play (“Power & Balance concept”). With this new sponge / top rubber sheet combination, V > 01 Stiff enables extremely fast and spinny topspin strokes with an aggressive ball trajectory. Especially in mid-distance topspin rallies, the V > 01 Stiff rubber unfolds its full potential. The enormous tackiness of the High Energy Tension rubber additionally enables dangerous, variant-rich serves and magnificent control in over-the-table play.

I used this on my backhand for about six months. It really sinks into the sponge. The feel is close to Tenergy, and it's easy to vary length too. When driving against topspin, spin and speed come out in good balance, making it easy to play. Flat hits are easy too. The biggest feature of this rubber is how easy it makes drives against backspin. Since the ball sinks in so well, loop drives and speed drives come easily. In the short game it's easy to vary length, but because it sinks in so much, if you're not careful with pushes and stops they sometimes fly off the table lol. Flicks and chiquitas are easy too since the ball sinks in.
Overall, it's a rubber you can use with a feel close to Tenergy, so I think it can handle modern techniques as well. It's also cheap, and its lifespan feels a bit longer than more recent rubbers. I'd recommend it to people who find V15 hard to use, people who want a rubber a bit harder than a 40-degree rubber, or people who want to try something like Tenergy!!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

. Easy to put spin on, serves and pushes really bite
. Easy to hit against backspin, and chops can be handled without any stressSpeed is a little lacking, but I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to hit stable, spin-heavy drives!

- Spin comes on automatically and it draws a stable arc
- Speed is a bit lacking, but the short game overall is easy to playYeah, how easily it puts spin on the ball is just crazy.

The ball really sinks in and it feels stable. The hardness is just right too — hit it soft and it doesn't kick off much, hit it hard and it sinks in and flies. It can basically do everything, but I found serves a bit hard to do. (Might be my own skill level too lol) Not sure why. It also didn't seem to be affected much by incoming spin, and blocks and counters were easy too! What surprised me was that the peak of the arc comes a little earlier than expected! It doesn't go very deep. But because of that, loop drives land shorter and are harder to counter, which made for a really good drive. Recommended for anyone who wants stability!

Just like the title says, it has a high arc.
Against backspin, both loop drives and power drives stay stable.
The speed isn't fast, but it seems to have the bare minimum.
Other than that, I didn't find serves, blocks, or the short game particularly hard to do.

The ball really sinks into the sponge, the speed isn't bad either, and control is really easy on top of being able to put spin on consistently — overall it felt very easy to use. If you think V>15 is still a bit too much for you but want to try a VICTAS rubber, I think this is a fine place to start. Also, I think it's better on the backhand.

I used max thickness on my forehand.
Compared to things like V15 Extra, the ball goes in easily even from an awkward position.Power is decent too.
I think it's easy to put spin on your serves as well.If this is your first time trying a VICTAS rubber, this is the one to go with.
