V > 01 Stiff is another innovation of the VICTAS V > 01 premium series for ambitious players. The German-Japanese team of designers (GJ Tec) succeeded in developing an extremely spinny offensive rubber which offers the perfect balance between speed and control to variable offensive strategists. The pimple geometry which is slightly more direct compared to V > 01, as well as the maximum tension of the High Energy Tension rubber sheet of V > 01 Stiff provide for excellent energy transfer when the bat hits the ball, thus developing great speed. The open-pore, state-of-the-art 45° high-performance sponge which is slightly softer than in V > 01 provides for more control in your play (“Power & Balance concept”). With this new sponge / top rubber sheet combination, V > 01 Stiff enables extremely fast and spinny topspin strokes with an aggressive ball trajectory. Especially in mid-distance topspin rallies, the V > 01 Stiff rubber unfolds its full potential. The enormous tackiness of the High Energy Tension rubber additionally enables dangerous, variant-rich serves and magnificent control in over-the-table play.

I used the 1.8 version.
My first impression was that my drives arced nicely and became more consistent. I also felt that lifting backspin balls was easy.
As for the short game, it's easy to handle, but being a spin-oriented tension rubber, it's easily affected by the opponent's spin. On that point, all you can do is get used to it, so just keep working at it.
I think this rubber can be recommended to anyone — if it ever feels like it's not enough, switching to Tenergy 05 should work well.

The first thing I noticed as soon as I hit with it was how amazing the consistency is.
Personally, it works great on both backhand and forehand.
Whether I swing forehand or backhand, the drive goes in almost every time.

The arc is very high and it's easy to put spin on the ball, so you can play with peace of mind.
It doesn't feel especially fast, but it's easy to control, so I felt it really shows its ability when you attack a specific course.

It bounces quite a lot so I quite like it❗
But when I use the V-15, I feel like the 15 is easier to use.
It might be easy to use even for someone who just started.

I think it really just comes down to how easy it is to block with
After a friend switched to this rubber, my loop drives stopped working on him at all
It bounces well, so apparently it's easy to aim your blocks or counter with it
I tried it myself and was impressed by how easy it was to block

Wow, this rubber can really do it all. There are strong players who even use it for chopping — I guess that makes it a Target-type rubber? It can handle solid topspin drives too. In that sense it's similar to Target or G-1. We're in the V>15 era now, but this rubber still holds up perfectly well.
