V > 01 Stiff is another innovation of the VICTAS V > 01 premium series for ambitious players. The German-Japanese team of designers (GJ Tec) succeeded in developing an extremely spinny offensive rubber which offers the perfect balance between speed and control to variable offensive strategists. The pimple geometry which is slightly more direct compared to V > 01, as well as the maximum tension of the High Energy Tension rubber sheet of V > 01 Stiff provide for excellent energy transfer when the bat hits the ball, thus developing great speed. The open-pore, state-of-the-art 45° high-performance sponge which is slightly softer than in V > 01 provides for more control in your play (“Power & Balance concept”). With this new sponge / top rubber sheet combination, V > 01 Stiff enables extremely fast and spinny topspin strokes with an aggressive ball trajectory. Especially in mid-distance topspin rallies, the V > 01 Stiff rubber unfolds its full potential. I used the black max thickness on my forehand.
Like the title says, the stability is insane. It draws an arc that's neither too high nor too low and lands right on the table. That said, the top speed feels a bit low, so it suits a grinding style more than trying to finish points in one shot. By the way, drives make a nice "thock" sound and the feel is great. Also, personally I think it works whether you brush the ball normally or hit it with a snap, but snapping it doesn't give you that much speed, so I think it's better to brush it and focus on spin.I think it works for anyone from intermediate players up to top-level players.

Like others have written, the arc is high, so the stability of your drives beats other rubbers by a wide margin.
Also, the sheet grips the ball well, so short-game techniques like chiquita felt secure with no sense of the ball slipping.
That said, I used it on a wood blade, so the arc ended up a bit too pronounced and I felt it wasn't much of a threat to opponents, so a harder blade like a carbon one might work better with this rubber.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

The man who can't swing his backhand (Experience: ４〜５ years) The stability of backhand blocks is something else!

I use Fastarc G1 or Tenergy 05 on my forehand, and Stiff on my backhand.
Since I play an all-forehand style, I was looking for a rubber that would give me a stable backhand block above all else. I had Fastarc G1 on my backhand for a while too, but after switching to Stiff, my blocking became noticeably more stable.
One thing that bothers me a little is that the trajectory ends up a bit too high. I'm trying to work on being able to swing my backhand more, and when practicing that, the trajectory gets a bit too high and I'm not able to return the ball fast and deep very well. I think this is largely down to my own lack of skill, but I wanted to mention it in case it's useful to someone.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I bought the black 2.0 for my backhand. I found quite a few distinct characteristics, so here's my review.
When hitting off the backhand, the arc is a little low. But when you lift the ball with a snap off the sheet, it does come up, so there's nothing wrong with the sheet itself. There's a nice little metallic sound too. Also, when I put spin on it myself it grabs firmly, but when blocking a loop drive or throwing up a quick chop under pressure, it doesn't pick up much of the opponent's spin and just sinks into the table.
And I think this rubber's biggest appeal is how easy flat hits are. Even though it's a spin-type rubber, it pops off the racket with a speed-type feel. On top of that, drives from mid-distance are flawless too... have you ever hit a rubber like this?
Advanced players swing hard on their backhand drives, so they can probably handle something like Tenergy, but for us intermediate players who do a lot of blocking and flat hitting, this kind of rubber might suit the intermediate backhand better.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

It's stable. The arc is higher than Limber's, so shots go in consistently.
Blocking and the like are easy — it absorbs the opponent's power well.
Personally I'd recommend it for players who swing their backhand hard from mid-distance.
