V > 01 Stiff is another innovation of the VICTAS V > 01 premium series for ambitious players. The German-Japanese team of designers (GJ Tec) succeeded in developing an extremely spinny offensive rubber which offers the perfect balance between speed and control to variable offensive strategists. The pimple geometry which is slightly more direct compared to V > 01, as well as the maximum tension of the High Energy Tension rubber sheet of V > 01 Stiff provide for excellent energy transfer when the bat hits the ball, thus developing great speed. The open-pore, state-of-the-art 45° high-performance sponge which is slightly softer than in V > 01 provides for more control in your play (“Power & Balance concept”). With this new sponge / top rubber sheet combination, V > 01 Stiff enables extremely fast and spinny topspin strokes with an aggressive ball trajectory. Especially in mid-distance topspin rallies, the V > 01 Stiff rubber unfolds its full potential. The enormous tackiness of the High Energy Tension rubber additionally enables dangerous, variant-rich serves and magnificent control in over-the-table play.

Because of the "01" in the name, some people seem to think it's speed-focused, but it's actually a high-arc type rubber, completely opposite to V>01.
If anything, it's an arc monster (lol).As a substitute for the 05, I think this is probably the best option out there.
It spins automatically, the ball feels like it lifts on its own, and the amount of spin is considerable.
Compared to Rakza or Fastarc, the automatic feel is even stronger, which is probably why I don't find it as easy to use for flat hitting as the 05.
Like the 05 or Rasanter R, it's a rubber specialized for topspin drives.
VICTAS' flagship has recently shifted to the V>15, but for the average player, I think the Stiff lets you bring out its potential more easily than the 15.On top of that, the list price of 4,800 yen — under 5,000 yen — is quite a bargain.

Some people say it's similar to Tenergy, but personally it felt different to me. I used the Libertas Synergy, and it doesn't bounce more than it needs to, if that makes sense. I think it's best not to expect too much. As for blades, I feel like a carbon blade would suit it.

Great performance for an affordable price.

Just from the first few hits, you can tell it bounces really well. As expected, it produces a good amount of speed too.
I used to struggle with loop drives, but once I actually tried hitting with this, the grip on the ball was excellent and my shots started going in. That said, sometimes it grips so well that you overshoot, so you need to watch out for that.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I switched over from Fastarc G-1. Since the V series has a matte-type topsheet, I figured the grip on the topsheet would be so-so.
But no! The grip is amazing, right up there with Tenergy!! When you hit it, you really feel like you're grabbing the ball firmly. The sponge isn't too hard or too soft either, so you can dig into the ball and also really crank the spin on hard. Personally, I feel it's close to a "G-1" plus "S-1." The stability on drives is insane! It's not that expensive either, so I think it might be an upgrade over Tenergy. I'd especially recommend it to people who worry about Tenergy tearing easily or find it too expensive!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

As a substitute for a certain brand-name rubber that went up in price
I used 05 on both sides, and honestly there was hardly any difference I could tell.

For some people, this might be a better rubber than Tenergy
The spin and control are more than good enough
Since the sponge is soft, some players might find the speed a bit lacking,
but for backhand use or for beginner/intermediate players, it's easy to get the ball moving,
and the control is off the charts!!
The moment the ball hits, it feels like the rubber grabs it and sends it right onto the table
