The VS > 402 Limber is the softest variant of the tacky VICTAS VS series. The tacky, elastic top rubber sheet was combined with the high-catapult Limber offensive sponge and opens up a new dimension of playing. Thanks to the new 40° sponge, this High Energy Tension rubber provides for outstanding control in offensive play and great sound. With the highly tacky top rubber sheet you can put pressure on your opponents with dangerous serve/return variants and spinny topspin/backspin strokes. The soft sponge pairs really well with the 7-ply Fortius blade. The stability on chops and how easy it is to attack from mid-distance to away from the table stand out even among VICTAS products.

The spin and stability are amazing. It's not quite Hurricane-level, but the drives have solid spin and power. That said, it suits a more defense-focused style better.

I'm not using it anymore. It doesn't bounce a whole lot. But it does have quite a bit of spin and control. Serves and close-to-the-table play over the table are stable. Chopping in particular was really easy with it.

If you're a chopper who puts a tension rubber on your forehand and tends to overshoot with your forehand chop, I'd really recommend giving this a try.
I thought a hardness of 40 would feel too soft, but it doesn't feel soft at all — it's easy to attack with and easy to spin.

It's slightly tacky, so it really is just a subtle bit of tack.
The sponge is soft and easy to control.
That said, it dies out quickly.
It doesn't bother me much since it's cheap, though.

Every technique is easy to pull off with this. Attacking has good power, and everything else is stable and easy to use too. It's slightly tacky, so it doesn't bounce all that much.

How easy it is to control is its real treasure. I think it's up there among the best rubbers when it comes to that!
Being easy to control doesn't mean the spin suffers either — it bites hard and stays stable. When attacking it can feel a little unsteady since the arc is low and the power isn't huge, but you can still push through with spin lolAll Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
