Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The Fastarc G-1 has the most power of the series. It's a very direct and to the point rubber. All offensive strokes from fast drives at the table to long distance counterlooping are executed with high precision. The hardest and fastest of all the Fastarcs.

If you put this on a hard blade, it flies too much.
If you want to control the ball by putting your own spin on it,
it seems better to put it on a softer blade.
Compared to the Tenergy, it falls short in every respect.
That said, I think it offers good value for money.

Let me compare it overall with the Tenergy 05.
- Serve
Of course the Tenergy has a bit more spin. The difference in spin amount was small enough not to really bother me. The G-1 has less bounce, which made it easier to produce short serves. I'd say the G-1 has the edge in serve consistency?
- Drive
Spin and consistency depend on the player and don't differ that much. That said, the Tenergy still gets plenty of spin even when you hit it flat, while the G-1 was much more consistent on drives hit flat.
- Backhand drive
The Tenergy was better overall here.
The G-1 tended to land shallow.
- Control
Overall consistency: Tenergy < G-1 — G-1 is simply better.
Light touch, close/mid-distance: Tenergy < G-1 — same as above.
Firm touch, away from the table: Tenergy > G-1 — the Tenergy's natural bounce makes it easier here.
Short game: Tenergy < G-1 — push and stop are about equal for both.
- Conclusion
The Tenergy has more bounce.
The G-1 wins on consistency and speed.
Well, the difference in spin was minor.
I get why top players who play away from the table choose the Tenergy for the bounce it gives.
For me, the G-1 is easier to use.

This is my first time using a special material blade (Innerforce Layer ALC), so I switched from the Tenergy 05 in search of more stability. Let me compare them overall.
Serve

The spin isn't quite as much as the 05, but it still puts plenty of spin on the ball. That said, with plastic balls, I find this one easier to use than the 05.

I used this on the backhand side of my Freitas ALC❗ The spin is incredible. It says it's on the harder side, but it actually felt pretty soft to me❗ It's easy to use even for beginners and well balanced, so I'd recommend it.

I met him in the spring of my first year of junior high.
His name was Yo-man, a chopper who couldn't hit if you stopped the ball on him.
I started playing table tennis in junior high. He taught me all kinds of things.
He taught me how to hit a topspin drive and lots of other stuff.
But the thing that stuck with me the most was choosing a rubber.
I knew nothing about rubbers and figured anything would do.
But the world wasn't that kind…
I talked it over with him and decided to buy this rubber.
This rubber was amazing! It let me do everything I wanted to do, exactly the way I wanted.
