Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The Fastarc G-1 has the most power of the series. It's a very direct and to the point rubber. All offensive strokes from fast drives at the table to long distance counterlooping are executed with high precision. The hardest and fastest of all the Fastarcs.

I have it on my backhand, and the feel is close to the 64, with the ball leaving the rubber quickly, I'd say.

I started using this around the winter of my second year of junior high. I'd recently been using a tacky rubber on my forehand, but decided to try G1 instead. I switched the day before a match and used it for the first time in that match, and even so I was able to hit more stable, powerful shots than with my previous rubber. The arc on my topspin drive in particular was really high and consistent. The sheet grips the ball well too, so I got plenty of spin on it. This is a rubber I want everyone to try at least once.

My MAX400 was getting old, so I switched to this rubber, which also grips the ball well.
First off, this rubber is a god. You can play both close to the table and away from it, your topspin drive stays consistent, and the spin it puts on the ball is excellent. I put max thickness on my forehand. Close-to-the-table techniques like smash, block, and the short game are stable, and countering off the opponent's own pace is especially easy close to the table. Mid-distance techniques like topspin drive, lobbing, and countering off of that all fly well, so I stopped falling short of the table as often. Also, when you brush the ball on a drive it draws an arc and comes out spinny, while hitting it flat sends it out in a straight line.
This rubber has a hardness of 47.5 degrees, so it's a bit on the hard side, but it grips the ball well and is also easy to brush. Ball-holding is just slightly good. It flies when you brush it, but not when you hit it flat.
I thought putting G-1 on was too advanced for me, but the shop staff recommended it, so I went with it. That said, I often see first-year junior high kids who just started playing table tennis using it. Since this rubber has a lot of bounce, you can't really handle it without solid fundamentals. So I think for a strong school in the prefecture, second-years could use it, but otherwise it's better suited to third-years. I'd also recommend it for drive players and close-to-the-table quick-attack players.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Every technique is easy to pull off. High spec no matter what you're doing! The extension on my topspin drive is ridiculous! It's a bit on the hard side though, so it won't put spin on the ball for you automatically. Just keep that in mind.

It flies really well, so flat hitting shots are easy to pull off.
Putting spin on the ball takes some skill, so I can't really recommend it to beginners. But if you've got good swing speed, you can bring out its full performance.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
