    Most players are looking for that rubber that fits them just right. Nittaku has introduced the Fastarc series with a variety to choose from. The Fastarc G-1 has the most power of the series. It's a very direct and to the point rubber. All offensive strokes from fast drives at the table to long distance counterlooping are executed with high precision. The hardest and fastest of all the Fastarcs.

      For a spin-oriented tension rubber, the short game is surprisingly easy to play.
      For serves, you can make fine adjustments, so I think it's easy to seize the initiative.
      It's a very well-balanced rubber, so it's perfect for players who mix topspin drives and smashes to break down their opponent!

      The topspin drive really grips the ball, and the sponge is soft, so you get good power too. Control and speed are both excellent as well. I could tell why Japan's top players use this.

      This is the rubber I'm currently using. But I'm going to give it a strict review!

      Topspin drive: The arc is high so it's consistent. It has speed, but lacks just a little bit of finishing power.

      Push: Easy to do. It never floats up!

      Block: Easy to do since it's close to a medium height. Counters are easy too!

      Serve: Easy to put spin on thanks to the grip.

      Watch out for
      It's a bit on the heavier side, and I feel the high arc makes it harder to use on the backhand. Maybe better for forehand. If you felt Rakza wasn't quite enough for you as an intermediate player, give this a try!!!!!

      The topsheet's grip on the ball and its stiffness are amazing. You can hit both grazing shots and shots where the ball sinks into the sponge. Also, the arc is really high, so a loop-style drive hit from a lower contact point gets amazing spin and power.
      I use an all-wood blade, so the speed isn't that high, but the spin makes up for it.
      The biggest improvement I noticed after switching to G-1 was how sharp the serves are. Because of the strong grip and stiff topsheet, it's very easy to put spin on serves.

      As for playing style, I think it suits forehand-drive-oriented players, servers, and choppers alike. In short, it suits people who are good at spin-based play (^_^)

      It goes with any blade. I especially recommend a 7-ply all-wood blade.

      Just like the rumors say, this is an easy-to-use rubber.
      Both the bounce and how easily it takes spin are excellent.
      If you want to hit hard and fast, pair it with a hard blade like a carbon one.
      If you want to put spin on carefully, pair it with a softer blade like an all-wood one,
      and I think it'll work well either way.

      The one issue, though not as much as Tenergy, is that it's a bit pricey.

      Especially for students, it might be worth only putting it on the week before an important tournament.
