I'm using the max-thickness version.
Honestly, every ball comes out with some kind of unpredictable spin, lol lol.
It's a bit on the heavy side.
The feel and grip on the ball are unique, so I think it's a love-it-or-hate-it kind of rubber depending on the player.
The best thing about this rubber is how easy it is to use over the table.
But when you get jammed up, the ball often doesn't fly and just slams straight into the net.
So if you're someone who can still make solid contact even when jammed, or someone who can instinctively grip the ball and hit it, I think your scoring rate in those jammed situations would be amazing. (Sorry, I'm not great with words.)
Aside from being a bit pricey and not lasting very long, I think this is a really good rubber.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard

I've only test-hit with the Q3 and Q5 from the Q series, so this might not be a fair comparison, but if you want spin, the Q4 is the best.
First, forehand hitting and drives feel pretty natural to switch into even coming from a different rubber. In particular, I personally feel the loop drive has more control and spin than any other rubber.
The short game takes a fair amount of getting used to. It has this Mizuno-specific way of imparting spin, and unless you really nail down the timing and angle, the ball can float oddly or only pick up half the spin you wanted. If you're used to the feel of cutting the ball with other rubbers, you might just have to accept that this one is completely different.Overall, I personally think it's a god-tier rubber.

I've tried the whole Q series and this is the best one. It's definitely a spin-focused rubber, but it has speed too. Drives come out really heavy because both the spin and speed are so good. It doesn't have so much bounce that you'll overshoot, but the speed feels just right. Against backspin, loop drives are excellent quality and my practice partners keep overshooting them. Speed drives arc a bit higher and land in reliably. Counters have great grip on the ball so they land consistently. It's a really good rubber with high performance. Chiquitas also have great grip and go in well — it's a really nice rubber.

I'm using the 2.1mm version on the forehand side of a Chinese-penhold blade. Comparing it with the other rubbers in the Q series…
The tendency is a very high arcing trajectory — noticeably higher than the Q3. But when you meet the ball flat, it flies straight, which feels close to a Chinese/tacky rubber.
The ball comes off high, so drives feel incredibly stable. Compared to the other Q-series rubbers, this might be the slowest in terms of drive speed, but it has the most stable drives of the bunch. The one flaw is that, because it flies high, it's an easy target for counters.
The only real downside is that blocks and flicks have this "boing" kind of springy feel to them. Blocks and flicks feel a bit odd because of it.
Overall, this is a drive-dedicated rubber I'd recommend for a full-on drive-heavy style. If you want to keep attacking with drives non-stop, this is the one for you.
If you want to play a distinctive style within the Q series, I'd say either this or the Q3, but the Q4 is the safer choice.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

This review is for both forehand and backhand!
First off, for this quality, being in the five-thousand-yen range is a steal!! I'm reviewing it mounted as the outer rubber. On the forehand, loop drives spin like crazy, lol. Even when you hit with a snapping motion, the ball flies in flat and lands well!
On the backhand, it's insanely fast, lol.
I'd recommend using this on the backhand!
It goes in even when you're far from the table, and it still gets a decent amount of spin!I think this is a high-quality rubber you can afford even on a tight budget!

The first thing I noticed is that your push never floats with this rubber. A lot of reviews say the push is hard to do, but for me it's actually super easy. It never floats. And you can produce an incredibly sharp, biting push. Nobody I've played against for the first time has ever returned my forehand push on the first try — it always catches the net. Once you get used to it, chopping by brushing the ball is easy to control. I used to chop by hitting the ball flat, but after switching to the Q4 that habit went away, and I can control it better than with a softer rubber. As for drives, the loop is excellent. But because it's hard, I don't have enough power to speed-drive backspin balls very well. On counters, though, the opponent's power sinks the ball right into the sponge, so I don't lose in topspin rallies. On top of that, it holds up well against humidity and lasts a long time. I've finally found my partner.

This was my first time using a Mizuno rubber, and I didn't expect it to be this good. Lifting backspin balls is really easy, and it comes up easily even when your form isn't great. That said, even ordinary topspin rallies tend to fly on a higher trajectory, so I felt like it's easier for opponents to counter.
