The topsheet is harder than the G1 or Rakza X.
The sponge is a perfectly ordinary 47.5 degrees of hardness.Because the topsheet is hard and it holds the ball well, loop drives come off with tremendous spin.
Receiving is easy too.This is definitely a forehand-oriented rubber, but if you prioritize spin, please give it a try.

I'm firmly Team Q4 over Tenergy. It might also come down to compatibility with the blade I'm using, but the hardness is exactly right! Personally, I get better balls and win more with the Q4 than I ever did with Tenergy. Guess blade-and-rubber compatibility really is a thing... The biggest change is that heavy spin has crept into just about every shot I hit. Not to brag, but I was already pretty good at putting spin on the ball no matter what rubber I used, and switching to this one bumped that heavy spin up even further. Mizuno going all-in is no joke.

The spin is honestly insane. The arc is high too, so topspin rallies from far off the table aren't scary at all. The speed is more than enough — if I had to name one downside, it'd be that flicking-type shots were a bit hard to pull off.

If I had to sum up this rubber in one line:
it's a Tenergy for intermediate players.
I don't want that to be misunderstood though —
I mean that more in terms of trajectory than raw performance.
The amount of spin holds up fine against the 05.
But where Tenergy grips and launches the ball with the whole sponge, the Q series feels like it's mainly about the topsheet.
Compared to advanced players, intermediate players tend to get a higher arc out of it.
That's mostly for the sake of consistency,
but that means you can't fully bring out what Tenergy is capable of.
The Q series, on the other hand, feels like a rubber that lets that trait work in your favor.

I normally run Tenergy 05 Hard (thick) on both sides.
So this is a comparison against 05 Hard.- Spin: It does spin, but compared to 05 Hard it feels seriously lacking. You can't expect enough spin to blow through an opponent's block.
- Topspin rallies: This felt pretty good. Against topspin balls, the Q4 lets you drive through more easily, so it's easier to hit.
- Serve: It spins, but not enough. That said, the control — mixing long and short — is better than Tenergy.
- Block: This is where it felt best. Very consistent, and easy to stop even hard-hit balls.
- Push: 05 Hard has overwhelmingly more spin here, staying low and biting — it's easier to use.
I watched a video from Lili Table Tennis on YouTube and bought this to try it out, but overall my impression is that 05 Hard is clearly better. (Well, I might just be comparing it to the wrong thing...)
For someone with power who can swing and hit through the ball properly, I think it might feel a bit lacking, but for players who focus on rallies or don't have much power, I think it's an extremely consistent rubber, so I'd recommend it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I'd been trying out several rubbers to raise my backhand drive success rate, and I finally found the one!
The ball grips the rubber well, so even over the table you can really lift the ball.
The spin on serves is nothing to complain about either!
On top of that it has quite a bit of speed, but it never flies too long — it's a wonderful rubber that lands solidly on the table!

I bought this as an entry-level hard rubber, wanting to stabilize my short-game techniques (stop and push).
My swing is slow, so I was worried about handling the attacking side, but it turned out to be no problem at all.What stands out about this rubber...
- You can clearly feel the topsheet "grab" the ball, letting you push with a flat, straight trajectory.
- Drives have a high arc, so even if you close the racket face and take the ball early, it still lands safely on the table.
- Serves spin easily. It's also easy to mix long and short serves with varying pace.Those are the three points I noticed.
It particularly excels at spin-based techniques, but I didn't feel any difficulty on the attacking (meet-hitting) side either.It might be surprising, but I found the push to be the easiest technique of all with this rubber.
I'd also recommend it to players whose style is to build their game off push rallies (which seems more common among women players?).All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
