DONIC BLUESTORM - A storm brews ! BLUE

A comprehensively thinner top surface rubber, subjected to high tension, allows space for a thicker sponge - generating extra power and speed.
The DONIC Bluestorm Series offers noticeably greater acceleration whilst retaining its outstanding spin and speed characteristics, making the latest trend.
The thinnest sponge is 1.9 mm, middle sponge thickness is 2.1 mm - and the thickest variation is called max+, because this sponge is even thicker than previous max versions.
Bluestorm is available in five versions. Select your own Bluestorm!

DONIC Bluestorm Z1 Turbo: Power personified.

A middle-pored sponge with a short wide pimpled structure. The Turbo has a 50° sponge and is therefore slightly harder than the standard Z1.
DONIC has produced a more dynamic version of Z1 with Bluestorm Z1 Turbo. The sponge of Z1 Turbo is slightly harder but with the same middle pore size. An almost perfect combination with the very thin high-tension pimpled rubber and the highly valued dynamic blue sponge. The perfect weapon for uncompromising attackers.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
The rubber is highly praised for its exceptional cost-performance ratio and offensive capabilities comparable to Tenacious. It attracts strong support from attack-oriented players, particularly those who rely on drive techniques. However, its hard rating combined with thin top sheet, flat trajectory, and difficulty handling backspin are noted concerns, making it less suitable for beginners.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Outstanding cost-performance. High-performance equivalent to Tenacious at 4,000-5,000 yen
    • Excellent drive and speed performance. Increases no-touch winner opportunities
    • Surprisingly soft for 50-degree hardness. Superior grip and food contact properties
    • Backspin handling and low trajectory are minor drawbacks. Not beginner-friendly
    • Tendency for serves to sail long. Requires technique adjustments for short-game play
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveRarely can you find a rubber with Tenacious-level performance at this price. Exceptional power in drives and counters; dominates rally-based play by stealing opponent's time. Unmatched versatility and value.
▽ CriticalHardness makes difficult stances problematic; backspin drives often fail to clear net. Requires sufficient impact force; unsuitable for beginners and technically immature players.

      MR-01 (Experience:More than 20 years) I think it's Cospa No.1 rubber

      Reviews by user

I've been using the Bluestorm Z1-3, and each has a little "a feeling of lack." However, using this rubber, everything was solved.
The Z3 was easy to drive, but it was a little lacking in power, and sometimes I jumped too far from the image in small areas such as Tsutsuki. The Z1 is powerful and easy to use on the bench, but the arch wire is low.
However, when I put a turbo on one side, the feeling arc became higher and it became easier to back drive (chiquita) especially on the table. The man-like drive stretches comfortably, and it's easy to control Tsutsuki and stop, so I decided to use a double-sided turbo immediately.
The biggest attraction is the performance that surpasses the price. I think it's a rubber that makes a perfect match with Raguza.

Impact pride (Experience:4〜5 years) I fly very much

      Reviews by user

I heard it and hit it at 50 degrees, but it was surprisingly soft It is easy to bite and it is easy to rotate, but it is a very good rubber without inferior speed, but it is difficult to control because it is too bouncy, the lower rotation is linear I feel it is a little difficult because I go with a good trajectory It is difficult because the table bounces It is a good rubber that goes up unexpectedly even in a difficult system It is a good rubber but its life is a little short

Table tennis (Experience:6〜10 years) The amount of rotation of the drive is superhuman!

      Reviews by user

I used it in the fore, but the amount of rotation and the speed when I banged the drive were great. However, if the swing speed is a little slow, it may not fly much. Only that was worrisome.
Saab is very easy to cut and is quite easy to stop! Easy to rotate. The seat has a great grip, so you won't lose the opponent's rotation! However, it's a little hard, so it's for middle and advanced players. I don't think beginners want to use this rubber (laughs)

      Used in the fore
Serve stops short and spin is perfect.
I have been using it for half a year, but I don't feel like the special hook has become worse.
      Drive becomes explosively strong ☆

Tokai's cut man (Experience:4〜5 years) Light and soft

      Reviews by user

It is a battering rubber, but arc line is low, so it is difficult to increase the downward rotation. The development from the upturn rally is nearly invincible. It is one piece that I want to use for players with many developments of the upper turning rally!

Nakayama (Experience:2〜3 years) 1 piece you want to use for back

      Reviews by user

The counter to use at the back is glow. 笑 It does not take much spin to say whether you can follow even rally with fast pitch. It is recommended for former players

      Reviews by user

I've been using Z1 Turbo for almost half a year now and this is the best rubber I've ever used so far. It's a good rubber for all-rounder and offensive-style players as it is able to respond well to fast plays and at the same time can generate so much spin on the ball.
