A comprehensively thinner top surface rubber, subjected to high tension, allows space for a thicker sponge - generating extra power and speed.
The DONIC Bluestorm Series offers noticeably greater acceleration whilst retaining its outstanding spin and speed characteristics, making the latest trend.
The thinnest sponge is 1.9 mm, middle sponge thickness is 2.1 mm - and the thickest variation is called max+, because this sponge is even thicker than previous max versions.

A middle-pored sponge with a short wide pimpled structure. The Turbo has a 50° sponge and is therefore slightly harder than the standard Z1.
DONIC has produced a more dynamic version of Z1 with Bluestorm Z1 Turbo. The sponge of Z1 Turbo is slightly harder but with the same middle pore size. An almost perfect combination with the very thin high-tension pimpled rubber and the highly valued dynamic blue sponge. The perfect weapon for uncompromising attackers.

Forehand: Bluestorm Z1 Turbo max+
Backhand: Mantra S max thicknessI switched my forehand from V>15 Extra to this rubber.
The sponge is hard, but maybe because the top sheet is thin, it doesn't feel all that hard.
The feel is strange — it barely resonates in your hand.For this hardness, I'd say it's on the lighter side in weight.
Also, like with V>15, the strengths really come out when you swing forward rather than lifting the ball up.Things that got harder to do:
- Balls I just brush in an awkward position don't fly and just drop. It really is a hard rubber.
- Loop drives and quick drives feel harder to pull off now.As a side effect, the Mantra S on my backhand also feels harder now.
Compared to when I used V>15, my backhand stability and speed both seem to have dropped.I think this is for intermediate to advanced players who have power and are good at fast topspin drives.

Since I used it on a blade with reduced bounce, hard hits felt a little lacking.
The balance is good, and it can handle just about anything!

I used it on my forehand. Just like the title says, it's spinning even though it doesn't feel like it's spinning. Both on serves and drives you don't feel like it's gripping, but when you ask your opponent, they say it is — that's the kind of rubber this is. This might come down to personal taste. It's not a crazy hard rubber, but the ball does drop, as expected. I felt like it was firmer than Rasanter R50. Overall it's high performance, excellent in both spin and speed.

I think this is the strongest rubber I've used in all my years playing table tennis.
Topspin drive: The spin power is massive, so your opponent can't even block it.
It's so strong that thanks to this rubber I won a tournament.Block: It's stable. More stable than Tenergy 05.
Counter: This is the strongest of all. It beats any kind of spin.
Everything else feels good too, but just one thing....
It might not suit beginners or intermediate players...
It runs so wild that it seems pretty hard to control.

This rubber is insane.
Considering its hardness, drives go in pretty easily too.
But when it comes to smashing, I felt like control was a little difficult.
That said, the speed and spin are beyond complaint.
I felt like it would be hard to handle on the backhand unless you're pretty skilled.
This is the impression of an 8th grader (2nd year junior high).

Bluestorm Z1 was good too, but once you switch to this rubber, you can't go back to the other Bluestorm rubbers anymore.
