I tried Dignics 05 and it was just too hard for me, no good. So I tried Dignics 80 instead.
Bottom line: it was the right call.
It can do everything. Serves bite well, and you get a good ball even with weaker impact than 05. Blocks and counters come out fast, letting you jam your opponent.
That said, it's still a fairly hard rubber, so you need some arm strength. I'd recommend it to penhold loopers who use the same rubber on both forehand and backhand, or to anyone who found 05 unusable.
An inner blade is probably a good pairing. With an outer blade you'll need the arm strength to hold the bounce down.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I put this on my forehand. I used to have Fastarc G1 on there, but I switched because I wanted a bit more speed. Speed is a given, but it also gets a lot of spin.

The bounce is held back a bit compared to Dignics 05, and it's a rubber where you can really feel the ball hold onto it. 05 felt like it was for advanced players, while 80 feels more suited to intermediate-to-advanced players.
Blocks that seem to grab the ball felt really good and stayed consistent.
It's stable even from away from the table. Lobbing was very easy, which makes sense since Jun Mizutani used this rubber.

The hardness is about 52.5 degrees on the German scale, higher than the Tenergy series' 47.5 degrees. For ordinary blocking or building spin gradually, the Tenergy series, being softer, actually generated more spin, but when you put real impact into the drive, this rubber could produce speed and spin beyond the Tenergy series. When I hit with solid impact, even this balance-type 80 rubber showed spin beyond Tenergy 05, but overall it was also harder to control than Tenergy. Smash speed felt a touch slower compared to Tenergy 64.
Because Tenergy is softer, it's easier to control and fills in spin nicely, but its ceiling feels comparatively lower, so if you're not confident in your impact, I think it's better to buy a softer rubber from the Tenergy series rather than Dignics.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

LOVERUBBER (Experience: １１〜２０ years) Closest feel to Tenergy 05, plus more power

When moving from Tenergy 05 to Dignics, most people go for Dignics 05 or 09C, but unless you're a hard hitter with strong impact, the sponge and sheet hardness feel off, and it's hard to really feel what's good about Dignics...
Then I happened to try Dignics 80, and it surprised me...My impression is that it feels closest to Tenergy 05, like a Tenergy 05 with more power, and it's now the ace rubber on my forehand.
It draws a proper arc, closer to Tenergy 05's "automatic feel" of easily drawing an arc,
and I wouldn't really call Dignics 80 an evolution of Tenergy 80 either.Personally, my sense is:
Dignics 80 is an evolution of Tenergy 05,
Dignics 05 is an evolution of Tenergy 05 Hard.If net misses rather than long misses are your issue with Dignics 05 or 09C, Dignics 80 is hands-down the one I'd recommend.

This is for forehand use. (Thick)
There was almost nothing that felt hard to do - I thought it was a fantastic rubber.
Counters in particular were easy to pull off.
Also, personally I think it pairs well with inner-type blades.
It's still expensive compared to other rubbers, but I'd like to use it again.
I think it suits intermediate to advanced players best. For beginners, I think it would feel hard and difficult.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Test-hit after putting it on a Lin Gaoyuan ALC.
Drive: There's a reassuring sense that the ball goes in even if your form breaks down a bit. The arc isn't as high as Tenergy, but I felt the speed was higher to make up for it. Serves and the short game were also consistent.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
