I bought all three versions, so I'll compare them.
For spin, the carbon version felt higher; the Ma Long 7 falls in the middle of the three.
For speed, I felt the 7-ply version was better.
For destructive power, the 7-ply seems to be the one.

A classic from the old days is back. I can't tell you how long I've been waiting for this moment — even though it's an old-school blade, it's still a masterpiece today. Even with tacky rubber, the power is unbelievable.

It doesn't bounce. Actually, if you hit forehand without putting in much power, it feels like the ball might just stick to the rubber before you know it. The spin is top-tier, so I'd recommend it to the brave souls out there trying to win on spin alone.

I wasn't expecting much, but it bounces more than I thought. There was a similar product before, but the sheet really is unchanged, and it puts an incredible amount of spin on the ball.

It's really light, above all else. You don't get that quirky tacky-rubber spin ball out of it, but the Blue Sponge looks great too, and it's a rubber I'd want everyone to try at least once.
