    I tried this partly because Masataka Morizono uses it, and the control is good, the speed is there, and the spin is fantastic, so it's stable no matter whether you use it on your forehand or backhand.

    I don't normally get many chances to use 7-ply blades (the last one I used was the SK7), but recently a friend who works at Nittaku gave me their new product. In a word: it's the best. It felt so good I could hardly believe it was a 7-ply blade. It just flies.

    I've used Vega Asia once before and thought it had quite good spin, but it didn't have the same stability as the Europe version. I think by lowering the hardness, this one keeps the same spin while improving both speed and stability.

    I was originally using a tacky rubber, but I put the DF on my forehand for the first time in a while, and depending on how you swing, it actually put on spin better than I expected. Also, when I put it on my backhand, since it has the same hardness as Vega Europe it was a really easy rubber to handle. Chiquita and backhand drives came out with a slightly more flicked, springy ball though.
