Max thickness, red, 48g. Mainly used on the backhand.
1. All techniques are just plain easy to pull off!
2. In topspin rallies it really shows off that spring sponge feel!
3. The grip is great, holding the ball nicely!
It's not a rubber with one standout trait - true to the word "tolerance," it's an extremely well-balanced rubber, kind of like an 80 that combines the character of the 05 and the 64.
I felt like it's a rubber that hits a passing grade across the board on every technique, rather than one with sharp, specific strengths - it's more about total balance.
Power falls a bit short, but you get a ball-holding feel close to Tenergy 05, and thanks to the good grip, blocking is stable like the 80 or 64.
Being able to buy it for roughly half the price of Tenergy is also appealing.
Even compared to the best-selling G-1 in Japan, I think the value for money is good.
I think it's worth trying at least once on the backhand.

Weight was 83g, with a blade thickness around 5.3mm.
The feel is basically all-wood, but probably because there's ZLF in the core, it generates more spin and a nicer arc than a pure wood blade even without a hard swing.
As long as you're not trying to blast through with one shot, I think you'll barely make any mistakes.
It's incredibly easy to handle!
I also felt like this blade really brings out the potential of whatever rubber you put on it.
With Hurricane NEO3 my drives had that typical tacky-rubber sinking action, while with Spinart, which uses a spring sponge, the drives hopped upward instead.
It was really interesting how much the ball's flight characteristics can differ even between rubbers that both have high spin performance, just by using this blade!
Because of its high control and light, thin build, I'm thinking of making it my daughter's first blade.
I'm hoping it's a blade that can grow with her, whether she develops toward a defensive style using her spin technique, or pairs it with a bouncier rubber and heads toward an offensive style.
I think it's a high-performance blade that not just beginners but intermediate and advanced players can be satisfied with too.

This review is from putting on a brand-new but unwanted sheet someone gave me. Given its weight and hardness rating, the feel on contact was soft, so it was easy to handle. Compared to Butterfly rubbers using spring sponge, I could hit with speed and bounce that felt totally natural. It's one of those rubbers that feels softer than its hardness-meter rating would suggest, like the Tenergy series, and I think it manages to combine power with ease of use.
Same as with Tenergy, being easy to use means the ball tends to come out with a similar quality shot every time, and while not as much as Tenergy, I felt that same tendency with this rubber too. It would be even better if you could add more variety to the spin through your own arm technique.
Since it's a high-performance, easy-to-use rubber, I think it's a solid alternative attacking rubber to Tenergy. Why not give it a try?Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

48g in a UM sheet.
- Easy to handle!
- Easy to put spin on, with spin levels on par with the 05!
- Even with spin comparable to the 05, the pimples seem a bit longer, so it's easy to punch the ball and hit fast drives too!
- The sheet is surprisingly soft and grips the ball well, so it's plenty usable on the backhand, but it also has a satisfying feel and ball-holding on the forehand — no weak points!
- Mixing in sidespin for connecting shots is super easy!
As the title suggests, it's an all-around rubber somewhere between Tenergy 05 and 80!
What bothered me a bit was that since the sheet is a little soft, pushes cut with the sheet tend to float up, and I felt like I picked up more of my opponent's spin on counter-drives and blocks.
It has great value for money, so if you're torn, I'd say go with it on your backhand!
Also, as several other reviews mention, compared to the R53 it's easier to handle but a bit more modest in performance.
The pimple shape seems similar to the R53, though it's a bit closer to the 80's shape with slightly faster ball release.

I used this on a Timo Spin, not a Timo Boll ALC, with speed glue and Sriver FX on both sides.
It's a great rubber - when you really swing through it, the spin and speed on a topspin drive are fantastic.
You don't see it much these days, but if you prefer a harder rubber over the soft Mark V, it's definitely worth trying. The best thing about Sriver is that it's cheap. At this price, you could even switch it out for every match.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
