It produces this creepy knuckle ball.
    That says it all.
You hit it a bit → out comes a weird knuckle ball
    Your opponent gets confused
    It's brutal.
This rubber is basically out to kill lol

It flexes way more than you'd expect from a 9-ply, and the feel is softer than I thought it would be.
The blade itself is also on the heavier side, so I think it's really good for drive players who prioritize spin.
It's also a good recommendation for short pips users since it won't end up too light.
This time I paired it Chinese-national-team style with Hurricane and Tenergy, and the total weight came out to around 190g.
If you put a hard rubber on both sides it might end up too heavy, but overall it was a really satisfying blade to use.

It's a strange kind of blade.
Just because it's stiff doesn't mean it bounces too much.
But when it does bounce, it really bounces.
    It's a fun blade somehow.
It seems like it'd be interesting for close-to-the-table pips-out all-round players.
    It's heavy though, lol.

First off, this isn't a dedicated chopper's blade.
You can attack normally with it too, so if you're looking for a plywood blade with a bigger blade head... it works fine for a topspin drive player or for close-to-the-table play.
The thickness is a nicely moderate 5.8mm.
It flexes and gives you spin, and holds back when you want to keep things controlled.
    I think it's a genuinely well-balanced blade.
...This goes for Yasaka blades in general, but I do wish the design were a bit nicer...

Honestly, it's a 2, it's unsponged, and even the Pro 3 doesn't bounce that much, so I figured this one wouldn't bounce either — that's the mindset I had when I hit with it.
I was proven wrong (in a good way)
First, what surprised me was the bounce even on light hits
It's not hard and clacky at all — the ball sinks in a bit and comes off nicely.
The speed wasn't all that different from a tension rubber either.
    Next, topspin drives
    The extension is insane
It keeps that distinctive Hurricane feel of the ball holding before it flies off, but it grips better than the 3, so that's a plus.
You can counter too, and it bounces plenty even from away from the table — the spin is, needless to say, no complaints.
The ball flew off so well that I found myself wondering, is this really tacky rubber?
There was only one thing I wasn't happy about.
The logo placement on the Hurricane
Right in the dead center is a big Hurricane logo, and next to it, prominently, it says Nittaku.
Hmm... not a good look. I thought it'd be in the same spot as the Pro 3, but it's different.
Honestly, if the logo position were different, I would have kept using it.
