  BANDA ALLROUND

  

  I switched from the Libertà Gloriaus Japanese-penhold to the BANDA Allround Chinese-penhold.
  A club teammate let me try it and the feel was so good that I decided on the spot.
  It really resonates in your hand, and the feel is like it grabs the ball and throws it back, which gives you excellent control.
  That said, for a 5-ply blade the bounce is quite strong, and maybe because the ball tends to fly upward, I found it easier to get distance and speed out of it than the Libertà Gloriaus.
  On defense it's also great for killing the pace or adding variation, and with short pips on the back you can produce a serious amount of knuckle (no-spin) effect.
  When blocking a high-quality drive, the knuckle effect was strong enough that opponents would net the ball unless they pushed or looped it back.
  The price is about the same as a beginner racket too, so the value for money is another point in its favor.

  リベルタグロリアス日本式からBANDAオールラウンド中国式へ変更
  クラブチームの人打たせてもらってあまりに打球感が良かったので即決
  かなり手に響き、掴んでから投げ返すような打球感のためコントロールは抜群です。
  しかし、5枚の割に弾みもかなり強く、上に上がりやすいためかリベルタグロリアスより飛距離やスピードが出やすく感じました。
  守備の際には球威を殺したり変化を付けるのもお手の物でおまけに表ソフトではかなりナックルが出せます。
  質の高いドライブをブロックしたときは相手がツッツキやループドライブをしないとネットにかけてしまうほどのナックル度合いでした。
  金額も初心者用ラケット並みなのでコスパは抜群なところも推せます。

  Recently I've used the Spectrum S2 and Sonic AR, both speed-oriented short pips, and this one has better balance than either.
  Most speed-oriented short pips these days have great grip on the ball and combine spin with bounce, but that tends to make knuckle balls harder to produce and shots come out too straight. This rubber, though, produces solid knuckle balls.
  Even just meeting the ball lightly against my opponent's topspin drive, I got high-quality knuckle balls that dropped dead on their side, whether on forehand or backhand push.
  I don't even have to try to create it myself - when my opponent's ball has good quality, it turns into a knuckle ball on its own.
  That said, there's little slipping on serves and pushes too, so the spin stays consistent.
  The spin on my drive is about average for a speed-oriented rubber, but again there's no slipping.
  The trajectory is a bit flat and the ball often sails long instead of dipping down, so you need to adjust for that, but considering it combines speed and variation, I found it doesn't fly off wildly and it's easy to change pace.
  It's obviously great on the backhand with a shakehand grip, but I'd also recommend it for penhold players using short pips who feel they lack that finishing shot with spin-oriented pips.

  最近ではスペクトルS2,ソニックARとスピード系表を使いましたが、これらよりバランスに優れています。
  最近のスピード系表は引っ掛かりがよく弾きと回転を両立しているかわりにナックルが出にくかったり素直なたまになりやすいですが、このラバーはしっかりナックルが出ます。
  相手のドライブに対し軽くミートして返すだけでもフォアハンド、バックプッシュ問わず相手がぼとっと落す質の高いナックルがでました。
  自分から作ろうとしなくても相手のボールの質が高いときは勝手にナックルになります。
  しかし、サーブやツッツキでも滑りは少なく、安定して回転がかかります。
  ドライブの回転量は並みのスピード系ですが、同じく滑りません。
  弾道は少し直線的で沈み込まずにそのままオーバーすることが多々あるので調整は必要ですが、スピードと変化が両立している割には暴発も少なく緩急もつけやすい印象でした。
  シェークのバックはもちろんですが、回転系表ではイマイチ決定力が足りず物足りないペン表にもオススメです。

  BLUESTORM BIGSLAM

  

  I used this on the backhand side of my Liberta Synergy.
  My impression was that it's easy to put spin on with a light touch, and blocks carry through nicely.
  Backspin balls also lift easily and the ball doesn't slip on the surface.
  The arc trajectory feels like a medium arc, so meeting the ball flat is easy too, and various techniques are easy to pull off.
  It doesn't have any standout feature, but it's a well-rounded, solid all-arounder.
  As for the sound, it's on the flat side — you only really get a good sound when you swing all-out.

  リベルタシナジーの裏面で使用しました。
  軽いタッチで回転がかけやすくブロックが伸びてくれる印象でした。
  下回転うちも簡単に持ち上がり表面で滑ることはありません。
  弧線は中弾道といった感じでミート打ちもやりやすくいろいろな技術がやりやすいですね。
  とびぬけた特徴はないですがなんでもそつなくできる優等生です。
  ちなみに、音のほうはフラットで思い切り叩いてやっとなるぐらいかな。

  Q QUALITY

  

  I used the 1.9mm version on the backhand of my Kirin K5.
  I heard the spec changed from the initial lot, so I tried it again after a while.
  Glued flat, the weight comes to 51 grams, which is pretty heavy for a "thick" thickness.
  That's a downside for using it on the back side of a penhold blade.
  I used to have the impression that it generated a lot of spin when you swung through properly, but honestly, it's now just average.
  It's not that it doesn't spin at all, but at this price range I'd want a bit more spin.
  That said, it's easy to handle against backspin, and both backhand drives and chiquitas feel easy to pull up.
  It's not an "auto" rubber, so if you put good spin on it, the ball settles in properly.
  Even when the third-ball push comes back sharply floating, you're not affected much and can still punch through it.
  It's not a rubber that specializes in any one thing, but among the more "dull-feeling" rubbers it has decent spin — if only it were lighter…

  KIRIN K5の裏面に1.9mmを使用
  初期ロットから仕様が変わったと聞いて久々に使ってみました。
  重量はベタ貼りで51グラムと厚にしてはかなり重め。
  ペン裏面に使うにはマイナスポイントです。
  以前はしっかり振った際にはかなり回転がかかるイメージだったのですが、正直普通。
  かからないことは無いですが、この価格帯ならもう少し回転量がほしいところ。
  しかし、対下回転はやりやすくバックドライブ、チキータともにあげやすい印象。
  オートラバーではないのでしっかりかけてやるとちゃんと収まる。
  3球目のツッツキがブチギレで浮いてきたときも影響をあまり受けずに打ち抜けます。
  何かに特化したラバーではないですが、鈍感さを持ったラバーの中では回転量がある方なので重量さえ軽ければ…。

  Used max thickness on the backhand side of my Pachitan 2.
  The speed doesn't feel all that different. It doesn't fly off on its own, but if you swing through properly you can get decent speed.
  The sheet is flexible, so the ball sinks into the sponge easily.
  What really stands out is the spin — it's clearly a cut above the typical 5,000-6,000 yen rubbers.
  It's easy to get a good arc, and if you grip the ball well against backspin you can produce high-quality shots that draw blocking or countering errors from your opponent.
  That said, it's a bit harder to hit flat.
  This isn't a rubber where just swinging gets the ball in — the harder you swing, the better the ball you get, so I'd recommend it to intermediate-and-up players who use topspin drives and counters.

  パチタン2の裏面に特厚を使用
  弾みはそれほど変わらない印象。勝手に飛んでいくことはなくしっかり振ればそこそこのスピードは出る。
  シートが柔軟なため食い込ませやすいです。
  特徴的なのは回転量。明らかに従来の5，6千円台のラバーとは一線を画しています。
  弧線が出しやすく、対下回転のボールもしっかりひっかけてやると質の高いボールを出すことができ、ブロックやカウンターミスを誘えます。
  その分、ややミートは難しいです。
  振れば入るというタイプのラバーではなく、しっかり振ればその分いいボールがいくラバーなので中級者以降のドライブやカウンターを打っていく選手にオススメです。
